Nice, well equipped playground
Feb 2019 • Family
Great playground with apparatus to suit my two under 6s. Cafe looked okay from the outside but we did not visit. Toilets were fairly unpleasant though not out of the ordinary for such a venue.

No longer open!

Turned up and only pitch and putt was available. Footgolf has apparently been shut since Feb 2018. Golf looked fun though...

FootGolf!
May 2017 • Friends
We played our first ever game of footgolf at the Palewell Common Pitch and Putt course. Tucked away in a suburban residential area it isn't necessarily the easiest place to find unless you know where you're going already, but there's a bunch of different sporting activities to entertain the whole family. The footgolf is very reasonable at £5 for a 9-hole round, and good fun too.

A lovely local park with a cafe and par 3 pitch and putt
Jun 2015 • Family
Palewell Park is a hidden gem adjacent to Richmond Park and had Beverley Brook running through it. The wildlife, expecially birds, is very varied and I have seen kingfishers on Beverley Brook in the past.

We went with our twin four year old grandchildren, who loved the café and the playground. They also liked running round the excellent pitch and putt run by the people who run Richmond Park Golf Course.

It has recently been much improved by the new managers and provides a great place for a quick golf practice. It is basically two fields but the nine holes are well laid out.

We ate in the café nearby and the cakes were outstanding.

This is a little gem for the local residents. The pitch and putt should be used more...and if you are that way inclined there is also an area for those who would like to play the French game of boules. There is also tennis, cricket and some pleasant woods
