The fourth plinth changes all the time. At the moment it is a large black thumb, almost like it wants an extra large 7 Up.

The fourth plinth on Trafalgar Square close to the National Gallery has developed into a contemporary art project. At our visit (august 2017) the title of the piece of art was “Thumbs up”, a message well needed in these times.

We have visited Trafalgar Square several times in the last few years and there always seems to be something different on the "Fourth Plinth". I like the Gift Horse - it stood out from everything else.

I liked the fact that this stood out and was different to its surroundings. I didnt know what it was and couldnt find any information about it near by but still liked it enough to take a few photographs.
