Don't take life too seriously!
May 2017 • Couples
If you enjoy a laugh and a walk down memory lane then try a tribute night here.

Where else can a couple get a night out in London for less than £30.

Seen a number of tribute acts here in recent month. Mercury, blondie, elvis etc

Quality differs slightly but if you want a laugh and a old fashioned and safe night out give it a bash. Life's too short.

Recently started a comedy night once a month and seen a number of recognised TV comics. Very good night and cheap.

Location very much stuck in the past. But bar prices good and staff go that little.bit further than most local pubs.

Would recommend anyone gives it a try.

Blondie tribute night
Apr 2017 • Friends
Hi,

Went here with friends for a blondie tribute night. The decor is oldy worldy (think pheonix nights) but the atmosphere was friendly and fun. Ladies toilets decor from 1970s but very clean. The bar ran out of some drinks (open until 12:30) but drinks were fairly priced. The room itself is a good size with a small stage area, dance area and green felt boothes around the floor. The tribute act was one lady in a blond wig and was on stage for around 45 mins but just sings along to a backing track of blondie *ala karaoke". The rest of the evening is old pop songs played by the machine but we danced along all the same. We had fun with our group of friends and I would consider going again.

Historic club dating back nearly 200 years. But do not let that put you off!!!

A friendly atmosphere, (the way all pubs used to be). Within a few weeks you will have many more friends and a busier social life.

The prices are cheap and the back hall has many tribute acts performing.

Telephone and ask for a tour. You will not regret it!!

Great Evening

Small private members club in the front, but they hold fantastic tribute shows in the function room at the rear of the members club.
Just saw a Freddy Mercury tribute which had the place bouncing, amazing atmosphere with age groups of 10 to 90!
Show started at 9 pm and the act sang for near on 2 hours with a short break. After the act ended, the hosts played dance music until the end of the night when the bar closed at 1am.
For £12, an amazing price too.
Great staff and a cheap bar - will definitely be back as they say food may be available by the end of the year too.
