Due to time constraints, we scheduled a marathon triple tour with Author/Tour Guide Ian. We took part in his Hidden Westminster, Hidden London and Jack the Ripper tours. We went to locations that no other tour would even go to or even be aware of. Ian was well versed and knowledgeable, even showing us photos of the locations we were visiting, and he patiently answered all our questions. If you would like to go on a unique, memorable tour of London and its surrounding areas, I would suggest you give London Town Walks a try.

We took a combined Pirates and Country walk with Ian. When Ian said we would view hidden areas that no tour company visits, he was right. He gave us a lot of interesting information and showed us many before and after pictures as well. He enthusiastically answered our questions. It was such a great day that we regretted not booking another tour with London Town Walks during our stay. We know you will enjoy a walking tour with Ian. And we highly recommend London Town Walks.

As a team building experience, our business hired a customized walking tour. I was one of the visitors from the States who participated. We started outside of our office building with the tour guide, and the tour last two full hours. We covered the area from London Wall and the financial district. The tour spanned so many topics, as outlined on the tour's website--winding alleys, the Great Fire, a melted cathedral, city walls, the Guilds, and the grass hopper which sits atop some of the buildings in London. Our guide has a vast knowledge of history, and he deftly wove stories of historic figures, artists, and writers so that you felt as though you learned a lot when you left the tour. It was a great idea to do this with our business, and many of the team are new to London or transplanted from other countries. This was quite useful and provided talking points as well with others who did not have all of the interesting factoids.
