The area

Address
Neighborhood: St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
How to get there

What a let down Prestat is. It is a shell of its former self. It was one of the best fresh chocolates you could buy in London but now it just taste like any industrial chocolate. The choices in the store are minimal and sadly overpriced in view of its lack of quality. Sadly this was the last time I will ever buy Prestat again. The Easter Egg was just too terrible.

The packaging is nice, the service is friendly, the shop is cute. But the chocolate truffles are awful. I'm a swiss citizen. We know how good chocolate should taste like. Unfortunately Prestat's truffles are quite inedible. Come to Switzerland instead (check out Sprüngli in Zürich or Honold in Luzern). Paris has some very good chocolate shops too.

I am reluctant to review this establishment as it is small with limited space and there will not be enough room for me when I go there if too many people know about how wonderful this lovely cafe is.

The menu is limited but the food is freshly cooked and delicious.

The staff are discrete and the service very efficient.

The decor is just like a Parisienne cafe and the crockery so very pretty.

Can't wait to go back, just lovely.

Only just been to this shop after watching it on TV. Called in May 30th 2018. Immediately was given a great welcome and inviting. The Gentleman behind the counter was professional in his explanation of the Establishment and the Royal Warrant that 1st fetched us here. Equally the girl on the counter was really pleasent and welcoming. Got a great selection of chocs for around £35 but as of yet we have to taste them. I'm sure they will be as good if not better than the customer service. All In All a must see store for chocolate lovers and those who like to see what our great royal family indulge in.

We found this place from a tour of ''royal'' London. Amazing chocolates of the most unusual flavours. Gracious service.Violet cream and prosecco truffles were nothing like we had ever tasted before.

Bought the jewel box and was really looking forward to trying these high end chocolates . Was so disappointed with every chocolate I tried . The chocolate did not have good quality chocolate taste and the filings were nothing special . Really wanted the next one to be the one, but sadly none were outstanding . The rose one was pleasant but had much better for half the price .

First visited after seeing shop on a TV programme about royal warrants & since been back on many occasions. What sets brand aside for me, are suger free items ( not for everyone, but a lot of diabetes in my family & in my pursuit of trying to stay healthy & off tablets, sweets & suger have became a no no, a killer, as I'm a lover of ). They have a limited selection of only dark & milk bars & nut cluster & praline chocolate's ( the later two options have been only available at the harrods concession ), but trust me, even though section is small, I've tried them all & once in while, when I'm near shop, their a little lush indulgent treat. Prefer the calmer atmosphere of the charming, st james, shop, though praise to the staff at both locations, who are always very warm & genuinely pleasant

A relatively-small shop, Prestat Chocolates packs a tremendous selection of delicious chocolates into its shop. Imaginative and diverse selection of flavors will delight the most experience dof chocoholics. Excellent hot chocolate. Samples are available. Chocolates are packed in attractive boxes and make popular gifts.
