Tower of London Opening Ceremony and Tower Bridge

Great tour option that provides access to the Opening Ceremony of Tower of London as well as fast access to the Crown Jewels. We went right in after the Opening Ceremony and had time to look through all the Jewels. As we came out the line to get in was already very long and by the time we came out of the White Tower it was ridiculously long! That alone was worth the tour price.

Rob was our guide and he was very knowledgeable, easy to listen to and gave us options so the tour wasn’t “stuffy”. Also, priority access the engine rooms of Tower Bridge was great because by the time we made it over there, we bypassed a long line as well!

Worth the early hour and cost!!!

We booked an early access to the Tower of London with the Crown Jewels!
Ben was our guide and he was knowledgeable and very witty!
We learned so many new things and had the opportunity to get through the tour with minimal crowds. By the end of our tour the masses arrived and all that was left was to cross the Tower Bridge and Ben had booked us access to a shorter queue and it allowed us to get through without incident!
We highly recommend this tour!!

A must if you are interested in the history of Aviation

Great Museum with really interesting stuff. A lot of kids-relaxing areas. The history of the British Aviation plus some foreign air planes. Very friendly staff, polite an helpful. Good Museum shop. Only negative point is the location: more than one hour from Central London , few street directions .

Difficult to recognize tour guide at tour start. Group too large. Could not hear your guide, received little Tower of London information as a result. Very disappointing!! All easily solvable with technology, and the desire to do so.

Harry Potter London Landmarks Tour from Platform 9¾

English Tour led by Anna Maria

This tour was so fun and our guide Anna Maria did an excellent job narrating the Harry Potter details. She was enthusiastic and made the walking tour so enjoyable.

FYI - Going first thing in the morning allowed a reasonable wait in line for the Platform 9-3/4 photo op. There is the store photographer and you can have some else take photos for you. I can see that later morning and during peak tourist season the photo opportunity line could be miserable. This was the highlight of the tour for us.

The souvenir store has a variety of Harry Potter merchandise. It was ridiculously crowded and it is a small store. We purchased plenty of items and gifts!

This was the only stop with a public restroom facility.

The rest of the tour was walking around London to learn about the movie locations, the author's thoughts and how the characters were developed. For our family this was a really interesting morning. Thank you Anna Maria!

Definitley worth seeing Tower of London with a Viatour guide.
The entire Tower of London tour was fantastic. Our tour guide BEN, was very knowledgeable, interesting and easy to talk to. He encouraged questions and told us many great stories. The place itself is beautiful and impressive, but made even better with a good guide. Definitely recommend Ben and Viatour.

Without the crowds - Yes please!

I would recommend this tour if you want to enjoy the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels without the crowds. We were very lucky to have Ben as our guide. He was very engaging and had great knowledge of the history of the Tower. He was able to relate facts and events in a light and humorous way. Throughout the morning Ben was very clear with times and meeting places so we kept to our schedule without feeling rushed. We even had plenty of free time to explore on our own. The Tower Bridge was interesting especially the old engine rooms that can be visited at your leisure.
Definitely a tour worth doing.

An early start, but extremely worth it!

This tour is highly recommended! Not only do you get to see the opening ceremony, which is not open to the public, but you get early access to a site that typically has extremely long queues. Ben, our tour guide, was fantastic! He kept a perfect pace and made sure to tailor the tour to the interests of the crowd. He was knowledgeable and made the experience extremely enjoyable.

Poor communication
I would love to give a review but we missed the tour. The instructions were to meet at 3 Tower place London. Google maps does not have such a place. I would have thought that this would have been a major consideration for any tour operator. To provide an address that is searchable. I asked if we could join the tour after we wee inside the tower but was told no.
