Neighborhood: Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

St. Georges Square is a garden square in the Pimlico area of London. Pimlico is an affluent area of London and there's many very fine buildings in the area, some of which are close by or surround this park. The A nice little park, but no real reason to visit on it's own unless you getting off at Pimlico station to get to the south side of the river e.g. to get to the Tate modern. This square is nowhere near as nice as it's namesake in my hometown of Glasgow though!Traveled soloWritten May 18, 2019

It welcomes the visitor with serenity after the rush of arriving from the hustle and bustle of the airport and hotel check in. I walked around the square in the late evening and I felt safe doing so as there were joggers, people on their bikes and fellow walkers around enjoying the scene.Traveled soloWritten January 5, 2016

Sitting in the heart a busy little spot and close to a church. Nice relaxing square that’s good to stop off for a time out. Not very big.

This is a long narrow garden square in Pimlico next to the River Thame. Consisting of a large area of lawn in the centre, paths and shrubs around the edge and a separate dog area at one end, it is a pleasant place to enjoy some peace and quiet.
