Loved the music but found the show a bit slow. Maybe because I know Carole King's life story and her many songs that there were few surprises so left thinking that it was an interesting musical.

We really enjoyed the singing & acting in this musical. We love Carole Kings music but this also depicts her early life ... The ups and downs. Excellent musical, even my husband enjoyed it & he normally hates musicals

Just seen it at the Orchard theatre and it was fabulous. Didn't realise Carole King was responsible for so many hit songs for other musicians as well as herself. Brilliant show.

This show traces the life of Carole King and was just sensational. The actors can sing and the music was a showcase of hits during 60 and 70. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the production don’t miss it.

Very slow to start, voice took some time to get used to but as the show progressed it got better or did I just get used to it? Great music and it was good to see her life story

Went to the Regent Theatre Stoke-on-Trent to see this show. Bloody brilliant. The music was fun, the narrative a bit odd (a lot of sofas!) But the superstars were the cast. Carol King was amazing and the other 'best bit' were the Drifters. The theatre...More
