The venue was a bit difficult to find on the sat nav but we got there in the end. We had 4 laser tag games to play within an hour which were either team games or individual. All were very active so be prepared to work up a sweat. Also bring old clothes as you can get dirty. Only downside was that there was only one womens toilet. Apart from that I would go again. I had a large group and asked for a room to gather in, he immediately accommodated us and my requests. Really well run establishment, the games were great and well facilitated. Think the briefing could have slowed down to explain to kids how to use the guns as they went inside and the 1st round were still abit confused at how to use. Staff were friendly but slow at coming out to give the scores in-between rounds. It would have been better if in the briefing we were told were game rounds we can play so that we could decide before we go in. I booked for a team building event 1h of laser tag: my team is made of people from different ages and background, but everyone really enjoyed the experience and had lots of fun. We had the space for ourselves and room is not small at all, but I guess it might be crowd if you play with others.
Louise really helped to organise it and then was an excellent host.
Yep, floor is slippery and you need coins for the lockers, but if you get there prepared the whole experience is worthy.

What a day. Booked 2 hours of Paintball for a large group for a 26th Birthday. We all enjoyed the close quarters, intense warfare. I'd strongly recommend this place for hardcore, adrenalin junkie, paintballers.
Special shout out to Kieran, Adam, and Ryan who looked after us for the day. They brought humour and fun to the group but were clear on instructions to ensure everyone was safe at all times. In addition, they were honest with the group in securing us a better deal when we consumed a lot of paintballs which we really appreciated and respected.
Areas for improvement would be to have a second map. We played in the same space for the 2 hours and whilst it was a great space, it would would have a little more variety.

We do try ensure that those who book a 2 hour session get play on both arenas, however are unable to guarantee this due to other bookings we may have on the day.

They obviously take party bookings that they don’t have space for. We hired the room for our party for after a paintball session, but other parties stood in the narrow corridor literally celebrating with cake and balloons and singing where people needed to squeeze through even just to get to the toilets! A guest of ours lost his coat and jumper because it was absolute chaos.
The safety briefing was unintelligible, even to us adults. We got the gist that there was a possibility of going blind, do not shoot at close range or back of the head, but what else was shouted during those 30-minutes, we have no idea. The instructions were basically just Being shouting at us at immense speed, it was hard to tell where one word ended and the next one began!
After the paintball session we had booked the room for 1 hour. 45 minutes in, someone appeared and told us we had to leave in 5 minutes. You may not need to have GCSEs to work there, but that’s still poor maths.

This is just a review of the Zombie Escape Room, and the Laser Tag.
The positives:
The concept is good: solving puzzles to find the card to open the exit door before a zombie catches you.
Food was nice enough and was served well, by a friendly staff member.
Cold soft drinks were readily available, which were welcome after running around for the laser tag.
At the end of each laser tag round, a member of staff gave results for highest score, most accurate, etc., and that was entertaining.
The negatives:
In the zombie escape room, there were far too many people in such a small environment. There were eight of us, plus the ‘Professor’ and the zombie. This was made worse when the zombie’s chain extended.
The zombie – who acted his part well – was too intense. He was too dramatic, and the team couldn’t think or converse easily to solve the puzzles.
There was very little logic to the puzzles, and they no real sequence; it just seemed to be solving a mismatch of puzzles in the vain hope of achieving or acquiring something which may or may not help.
One of the puzzles didn’t even seem to have any benefit, so why was it there?
A day or so after the event, Bunker 51 emailed the players asking for feedback, and sent a photograph of their team , but it seems some people were sent the wrong photo and, despite asking more than once for the correct photo, they have still not received it.
To be completely honest, the whole thing seemed a bit haphazard overall, and not a venue that we would recommend.

Would highly recommend this place , good staff there with good banter. Man like William is a legend he made the experience that bit better by making us all feel involved and he even got shot in the neck I know that’s gonna be hard to explain to the missus. 😂 but yeah 100% looking to go back in the coming weeks. 👌🏽

Great indoor paint balling activity to do with friends. Super cool arena setup . Dave hosting our group was beyond entertaining. Super friendly staff and very accommodating. Will for sure come back !

Wonderful place. We booked a junior paintball session for my son’s birthday and the kids loved it. The venue is ideal - very spacious and atmospheric and the staff make it really special. We arrived quite late for our session but the staff went out of their way to give the kids a great experience and allow them extra time to play, beyond our slot. The staff are really enthusiastic and go the extra mile to make sure everyone has a great experience. I highly recommend and am definitely intending to go back.

Zombie Swat.
Thought the place, the staff, the guns, the experience were all very good. We went on a Sunday late afternoon so group size was a total of 8 people.
However the experience was ruined somewhat by the inability to see out of the constantly steaming up googles, fine for the first couple of minutes but once you start moving about they instantly steamed up and you could barely see a meter in front of you. This got really frustrating and affected the three of us who went together. Shame cause this seems a pretty minor thing that makes a massive difference.
It's also pretty damn expensive.

Had a great time at my first airsoft experience with my friends. The time absolutely flew by and we will definitely be coming back in the near future.
Big thank you to William for keeping us safe, entertained and making sure our equipment was working.
Thoroughly recommend this site for Airsoft and I’m sure their other activities are fun and exciting if the airsoft is anything to go by!

Awful place, please do not waste your money!!!
We booked the Bunker 51 for my nephew's 9th birthday party and we were not able to enjoy the party at all. We paid £300 and we had a really bad experience.
Dirty toilets, untasty food, only color juice, unorganized staff team, no wet tissue during the game, broken gun.
We had only 1 hour for the paintball and because of the unorganized team, we were able to play the game for only 20 minutes.
They spent too much time explaining the game rules (just talking); when we were playing the game the team stopped us to clean our masks and they did not have any wet tissues and one of the team members left the place to get a wet tissue anyway we never had wet tissues during the game we tried to clean our masks with the paper blue towel and the paintball is oily with color. One of my guests had the oily paint on her mask of course, there was not any wet tissue and the team members took her outside of the playing area for cleaning the rest of my guests for the staff to bring her back to the playing area.
My gone was broken and I was not able to use it when I was trying to tell the staff was only shouting at me do not touch the gun. I was not able to play the game at all until the staff fixed the gun and it was almost the end of the game.
The staff took out my nephew from the game because the touched his mask and my nephew said he could not brief by the time. It was his birthday and his friends came his party for him. The team members could have explained to him do not remove the mask. I tried to explain the team today his birthday and he would be so upset, let him complete the game and the team go not let him to back!!!

we have never been here so I have no idea what's around and research is frying my brain..

Hi Chris,
Nikky here from Bunker 51. There are a couple options about reaching us by public transport. You can go to Charlton Station and we're a roughly 15 minute walk. Or you can go to Greenwich Underground and catch any bus from Bus Stop A (either the 161 or 472) to Woolwich Road/Charlton Lane bus stop and we're a short walk down near the Thames Barrier.

We have street parking available around the venue. I will warn that it can be quite busy on Saturdays and Sundays, however. But there's usually space to park!

Hi, I was thinking to book this for my boyfriend and I (and saw on your review that you and your boyfriend went). How does it work for couples? I assume you get paired up with other people that are there? Or did you go in a bigger group? Thank you in advance!

we went in a larger group for a stag do. but we established how it works (for laser tag, at least. this may not be the case for paintball or airsoft)
with lasertag they gather everybody from all groups together between rounds tell you what the game is, then the computer system that your bodypacks communicates with tells everybody what team they were on for this round.
i think this could be fun as a couple, first you may be together, then the next round some friendly rivalry will surface. don't, however, expect to be next to each other, these games do not cater to people who want to hang out with each other. i didn't see half of my party except when we were in the briefings between rounds.
