St Peters Barge is an interesting concept being a floating church. Even more bizarre is the location near Canary Wharf. A church ministering to bankers and insurance brokers in the hearts of a major financial district. In the current volatility and times of uncertainty, I'll bet the masters of the universe are hoping to avoid going down with ship. There wasn't much to see when I visit on Sunday as the service was somewhere else and those in the church were having their lunch.

We visited this floating church last Sunday. It was a great experience. The people were so friendly. The music was beautiful, and the sermon was well thought out and very thought provoking. It was such a great thing to worship with brothers and sisters we had never met yet still felt a kinship with. And a bonus…church on a barge--how cool is that?!
