I’ve been in the sound lounge. I’ve paid £12.50 to get in, I have booked two tables of 4 people as we were in 6 they didn’t allow us to seat all together. They have asked us to seat on the back. As soon as the musician has started The business owner has asked me to not to talk too loud, after few minutes a customer has asked me to do the same. Obviously he saw the business owner (the lady) has approached us. The place is really expensive and the salad was without toppings. The ciabattas arrived after 30 minutes. I have spent £50 and I’m sooo unhappy. Didn’t have fun at all! COVID period is so challenging they should be more careful about customers, never will go back there anymore and my friends too. We should get a refund honestly, I’m always happy to help artists but in this case I feel as I’ve waisted my money. Would love to have a proof those money went to them.

We had a brilliant night out at the Sound Lounge! The food was incredible: jackfruit burgers were a messy delight, and the best onion bhagis I've ever eaten. Great selection of beer, and the decor is a pleasure. The highlight is the music: foot stomping, head-shaking blues. We'll be back for sure!

I visited The Sound Lounge having walked past it a few times in the past, today we thought we’d check it out; and i’m glad we did. As you walk in, you are welcomed by one of the staff with a lovely smile. The first thing you notice is the décor. The décor very much has a hipster feel to it, with mismatch furniture and simple, untended to walls. There is a range of Vegan delicacies to choose from, from it’s cakes to full lunch and dinner menus. The cakes (particularly the Brownies) are rich and flavourful with a moist centre. Definitely a treat for the palette. We ordered the Vegan Pulled Pork sandwich made from Dragon Fruit and the Vegan Bean Chilli. The Dragon Fruit for the Pulled Pork was beautifully shredded and resembled a texture which was very similar to its’ meat equivalent. It was flavoured well and served with a nice Slaw and Chips. The Bean Chilli was cooked throughout and was seasoned well with a subtle hint of Pepper giving a rounded flavour. I would recommend this place as it’s a nice place to go when you are after something simple. Overall Atmosphere: 6/10 Overall Décor: 4/10 Overall Food: 6/10 Overall Service: 5/10 Overall Rating: 5/10

I LOVE the Sound Lounge and am so glad it's opened up in Tooting. It's an amazing community hub, offering events for all ages and for everyone from every walk of life. But for me it really brings joy in the evening with the brilliant live music it offers - I can't believe I have such an amazing venue walking distance from where I live. I feel SO lucky! The staff are always friendly and prices are reasonable, and I keep promising myself a vegan Sunday lunch there - I must make this happen soon! Tooting really wouldn't be the same without this absolute gem of a place run by people who are also absolute gems.
