I remember this store when I was a child and as I grew up I still continued to return. I am gutted that last time I visited the down stairs was no longer open, the store is therefore smaller and less on offer. Shame.

I visit Cybercandy whenever I go to London. For me it is an excellent place to buy Jelly Beans without having to go outside of the centre to places like Harrods. They stock an impressive amount of candy and snacks from all over the place, as well as Root Beer!

When we first visited this shop it had a basement full of jelly bellies but the basement has been closed for sometime now and the jelly bellies are have moved upstairs meaning there is less choice of the other sweets (in my opinion).

I would normally spend around £20 in the shop, spearmint altoids, jolly ranchers but today I couldn't find any of my favourites. Just got a single twinkle (at an extortionate price) and some lollies (which were so old I couldn't get the wrappers off them and they really soft)

I loved this shop, it's starting to fade now I feel.

Don't go out of your way... The basement was closed when we visited the shop. Nothing special really. Bought son candy for the kids and were on our way!

Always pop in here if I am in this area of London. Have lots of unusual sweets that you wouldn't usually find in ordinary shops/sweet shops!

Do you like candy? If your answer, like mine, is yes, Cybercandy is for you. It is pricey, so don't go overboard filling your shopping-bag!

There used to be a few places in London apart from Selfridges, where you could get candy and chocolate from countries such as Canada, Australia and America. Cybercandy seems to be the only one left, which is a shame, because it doesn't have the same variety as it used to offer.

It is a very small shop, with a small top floor and a small ground floor. I understand they are restricted due to the space, but it's not always easy to walk around and browse. Having a giant (and I mean giant) Wonka gumball machine in the centre of the top floor doesn't help, nor does it help to have chocolate and sweets on shelves that start on the floor, situated right at the top of the stairs, so when people want to get up or down, you always have to move out of the way, and it’s awkward having to crouch so low in such a small space.

There are chocolate bars and other sweets from American, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Japan as well as the UK. They have a selection of sodas, also stock Jelly Belly as well as crisps and other edibles.

As someone who spends far too long (and money) on UK websites that sell chocolate and sweets from other countries, I know that the selection Cybercandy has, as well as not being as impressive as when I first started visiting about five years ago, is quite far behind many other places. The lack of Cadbury items they have from Australia, New Zealand and Canada is a real gripe of mine, because Cadbury from those countries is the best (pineapple Freddo's are unbelievable) and as there used to be a shop dedicated to goods from those countries, and that company still has an online shop, I know the variety that is out there and Cybercandy has a tiny amount in comparison. I know Japanese stuff is big at the moment but you can't beat Cadbury's.

I'm not sure if something is going on with the company full stop, because the website is chock full of out of stock items, and some I haven't seen in stock for months and months, so it's probably not surprising they don't have a great selection in their actual shops.

It's a shame because price-wise, generally they are on a par to all the other online companies, but due to their lack of anything I would be interested in, visiting Cybercandy is now a case of if I'm passing by, whereas I used to make a special visit.

If you’ve never really seen foreign candy, then you should definitely visit, but if you are more familiar with what is out there and have used other brands to curb your sweet tooth, you will be disappointed with what they have to offer.

Sometimes you go to a pick and mix and feel a little bit samey. But I had a great time taking a tour of the world in a basement .

Full of sweets and food from all over the world. It's quite nice being able to see that Austrailia has different flavored Dairy Milk, or that Mars come in other varieties. They sell lollies with scorpions and edible bugs here too.
It's slightly expensive (Imported price), and based in Covent Garden which is easy to locate.
There's stairs, no lift, and it can be a little tight when lots of people are inside.
They have a website too!

We stumbled across this shop while heading from Covent Garden back to Leicester Square and are so glad we did... This is officially our favourite sweet shop! They sell sweets from all round the world, especially the states and asia which is great. The prices are fairly high but then imported sweets always do seem to be!

Come here for a mega treat!
