We were given tickets as part of our Christmas presents for this show. We both enjoy the music and were not dissapointed by the show, what a shame it didn't go on longer. The cast were all well received by the audience and even though it was a Thursday afternoon matinee everbody was 'on their feet' by the end of the show. The 'band' were very good and really got things going right from the start. We had dress circle seats and found them very comfortable with decent leg room, always a problem with me as I am quite tall and often have to endure very uncomfortable seating (either theatre or airplane) Beware that there is a policy of not allowing you into the theatre with opened bottles, so if you want to take a bottle of water in with you (especially as summer is here) keep the bottle unopened and they will let you in. I dont know what the bar prices were like but not many people seemed to be drinking at the interval and I did hear some complaints about the prices. On the whole well worth a visit especially if you enjoy the 'Latin sound'

I've been with Elli for two London East End tours and each one was fantastic. The first tour was a charity walk with a big group, the most recent just two Londoners with three Australian visitors, tracing their ancestral roots. This recent walk covered Bethnal Green and areas around and was a wonderful look into the past. Elli's knowledge seems endless, about the various nationalities and religions who have lived in the area for centuries. We were told all sorts of snippets of information, just 'by the way' that one never finds in guide books. Elli does not patronise but explains and informs with humour and humility. She had done her research well and found where streets that no longer exist were situated. She was brought up in the area and worked for 30 years there too so her passion comes from what she has learned over many years, plus her training as a City of London and City of Westminster tour guide. For the amount of research put in plus the actual tour her rates are very reasonable. I can't wait to do another walk with her and would not go with anyone else.

Spent over two hours listening in awe to Eleanor (ex City of London policewoman) talking with great knowledge and passion about an area she obviously knows so well from over thirty years pounding the beat there. She has a natural flair for holding the interest of the group and exploring further into topics relevant to the places she visits. We started at Blackfriars station and ended up at the Old Bailey but she also does many other walks which I know will be just as fascinating as our one was. Not to be confused with several other companies with very similar names, make sure it is Eleanor Bloom who will guide your tour, whether you be local or a tourist, she has so many incredible tales to tell!
