As a Spanish person and since I’ve been living in London I need to say that I’m not going to buy there anymore not only for the customer service (simply awful and rude) but also the outrageous prices. I wanted to buy a terracota dish and I asked the guy for that. He didn’t make the effort to advise me when I asked for help, he looked like CBA, moreover I saw the price was different in other piece so I asked again why they were different prices, even thought when they were the same dish, and the guy just removed the sticker with the cheapest price just in front of me (unbelievable). I admit that the Manchego I found at Garcia was better than the ones in the various supermarkets, but the prices!!! The same money for ridiculous quantities at Garcia's can be spent for a good week of shopping. At least we found the "vongole" au naturel, we were looking for a while...We paid GBP 2.75 for a small pot, in the supermarket (unfortunately rarely available) they normally cost GBP 1.00/1.50.…

I thought this shop was expensive but today I had enough. I went to buy the fish stock which was already quite dear £5.95 for a 950ml bottle. To find that they not longer stock it, they now do the 480ml for £3.75!!!! Which means if you were to take 2 to make up for the big one you would pay £7.50 for 960ml. Daylight robbery. So disappointing that they ripping people off like that. Then they have the cheek to treat customers like thieves.…

Buying good quality Spanish food supplies in London is difficult but Garcia's is even better than Borough Market. The prices are fair-to-reasonable for the quality they provide ... although if you want 'any old' chorizo or jamon try Tesco for lower prices. Only Lidl has good quality at a low price ... although only when stocks are available. Anyone complaining about the price must be a tourist ... and this is a shop for aficionados who appreciate what they get. London is lucky to have Garcia.…
