Interesting establishment along the Bermondsey mile. Range of craft ales and ciders. The beers vary from something you may have tried before to something you won’t have tried. Single and double and Triple IPA’s, fruit, chocolate and coffee flavoured ‘beers’ and much more. These new beers appeal to my adult children but my choice was a more simple unfiltered Pale Ale. This was excellent.
The inside has a welcoming atmosphere although you do need to order via the app and without Wi-fi and a limited 4G signal this proved a bit fiddly. But we persevered and the beer arrived. Overall well worth a stop by if you are in the area.

We participated in a beer making course. Sam was an amazing and patient teacher. He made sure we had the correct recipe for the type of beer that we wanted to make. We were led through the entire process and he was very friendly and informative. Just a note-this is better for a longer trip or a local participant, because you need to return a second session to bottle the final product once it is fermented.

The venue is in a railway arch so quite unusual, they brew and do beer tastings on the mezzanine and you can hear the trains overhead. A very popular venue, not sure how the one toilet would cope on very busy sessions. The tasing session is very informative and relaxed with 5 or 10 tasters (could have had more different beer varieties on the10). Definitely worth a visit.

We were given a beer tasting experience as a Christmas gift via virgin experience. Although it was quite difficult booking in a date, mainly because we come from Norwich, we really enjoyed it. Started at 6.30pm sharp with the first of 10 beers (each a 100ml serving) in a laboratory vessel which was cute. Sat upstairs underneath the railway arch which was a bit warm on long tables where you are able to talk to other vistors. We sat next to two lovely sets of people, from Milton Keynes and a lovely french guy from Provence who we extracted holiday information from. Not all the beers were to my taste especially the wheat beers but thats all part of it. The mango and coconut ice cream tasting version was my unexpected favourite. The whole thing is presented by very knowledgeable staff for 2 hours and it was a great experience we really enjoyed it and theres some great bars nearby as well afterwards.

If you're interested in beer - making it and or drinking it - you'll love this. I came along for a beer-making session at the Beer Lab Tap Room in Brixton. There were four of us and we made 5 different beers at 20 litre scale. When ready the brews will be available in the Tap Room - probably 3 or 4 weeks later.

I've been contemplating brewing my own and this was a great introduction with hands on experience: preparing the grains, mashing, sparging, boiling, cooling and then fermenting. And as we progressed so different beers were brought in for sampling - what's not to like!

The staff were super friendly and really knew their stuff. I came away really enthused and ready to have a go myself. Then the icing on the cake is that you come away with a goodie bag. It.may be beer making equipment or a selection of craft beers to sample back at home.

All in all an unusual and really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

Received this as a 40th birthday present and had a great morning making our own brew with friends.
Very knowledgeable staff taking us through the whole process, with a big selection of beers to buy and try while doing it.

Positively surprised to find this place literally close to busy area nearby Leicester square/Trafalgar Square.
The beers are really good, it is not the common pub with basic beers. This place has a real soul, would like to keep for myself before it gets too busy:)

Was given this as a Father's day present- what a cracking find!
10 very interesting, and different beers were sampled upstairs, in the micro-brewery.
Our host was witty, full of fun facts- and obviously knowledgeable about brewing. I learnt a lot about the different hops used and the flavours they impart in the 2 hour tasting session.
It was so good that I aim to come again- this time with 2 or three like- minded beer enthusiasts.

Just dropped into see what equipment and ingredients the team sell for brewing. They have mostly everything except wine yeast 😢

Team is super friendly and helping track a shop that sells it.

Decided to taste some of the beverages on sale while I wait. Cold Harbour Larger made by the team and it's very nice.

The team is super busy setting up the shop for tonight's beer tasting. Looks like fun...wish I could stay.

A microbrewery with very well equipped beer shop and a small bar-area.

Shared two tasting plates with friends, have to say some of Beer Labs beverages really have potential - some were better than other, yet even “the weakest link” was tasty and worth the money.

If in Brixton, this brewery is definitely worth visiting.

Excellent , professional and helpful staff!
