There is no doubt that Melt make some fantastic chocolates, but their customer service is really poor. I spent over £50 including delivery on a box of chocolates just before Christmas and the DPD online order said it was going to be delivered on 16th December but it never showed, I received no message to say it was not coming either. It then arrived the next day, unfortunately I was not there to answer the door, my wife received the parcel with Melt Chocolates and their branding all over the box!! When we opened the box, the guide showing the chocolates in the box was nothing like what was delivered! there even some vegan chocolates which did not taste very nice. I sent 2 emails to Melt to complain and never got a response, to say I am disappointed is an under statement. I feel very let down as I know they make great chocolates but this was a waste of £50.

No idea what the chocolates taste like as after paying £10 for same day delivery chocolates never turned up. Telephoned their main shop only to be constantly told it has been delivered despite me explaining if it isn’t at the address requested it isn’t delivered and they need to find out where their delivery company has taken the chocolates to.

Then received an email saying it has been delivered but under delivery address it has no door number. When I telephoned to explain this I just keep getting told it is delivered. So no idea where the chocolates are and they are refusing to see where they are or provide a refund. They also refuse to take my calls, provide their names or respond by email.

Never using them again and now I have to contact my back to get my money back all over some chocolate.

Melt and its staff is operating in the middle of a global pandemic and complications due to Brexit. We provided proof of delivery and did indeed deliver his chocolates- but will not tolerate the level of verbal criticism this individual directed at our staff including our head chocolatier. It was totally unacceptable at any time but particularly during the current environment. Our staff have a right to work in a safe environment, free from the anger directed at them for doing a great job.

Delicious chocolate ('Wild' bar is especially nice) bought from the Holland Park branch. As a chocolate-novice, the man serving was helpful in guiding me round the amazing selection. The atmosphere was cosy, and it was exciting being able to see the masters at work in the kitchen behind the counter! Will likely be returning for chocolatey gifts in future.

Firstly, I assumed if I paid £100 for my Son and I to make chcolates that they would be edible but I was told this wasn't what I was paying for when the chocolates we produced were runny and tasted dreadful.
The workshop was interesting and fun. There was no room for us to make an error as everything was pre-measured and mixed so not sure what went wrong as we looked after our creations in terms of temperature very well after returning home. I wonder if the fan heater blowing behind us to warm our working area which was either too hot so had to be switched off or left us freezing when not on at all was to blame! A strange thing in a professional kitchen!
I phoned to say the chocolates were runny and dreadful I was told by the manager of the shop to cut one in half and send a picture. This was after my originally email was ignored. I was then told that the Founder of the shop had said we had paid for the workshop not the chocolates so nothing could be done. I said I was not happy obviously and was then told to send them back to be analysed! I might then get a box of chocolates sent to me as a gesture. By then I wasn't willing to waste anymore money so suggested they think about responding more appropriately and get back to me. I didn't hear another thing.
Completely disgusted with their customer service. Simply not interested if there is a problem. They did say that they did not use this recipe in the chocolates they sell in the shop which is a blessing!

The whole experience was smooth from start to finish. There was a good balance between baking, tasting and learning, Igor knows his stuff. Most importantly the brownies produced were delicious.

As a chocolatier, I make it a point to visit as many chocolate shops as I can during my travels. It's research, right?! Melt was pretty high on my list of places to visit while in London, and I am so happy I made it in. It's a small shop, as so many chocolate shops are, but its chocolates are mighty! The passion fruit & mango was my favorite piece not only from the shop, but perhaps from all the shops I visited in London! Really well balanced flavors and just delightful to eat. Wish I would've purchased more. I was genuinely impressed with the quality of these chocolates and would highly recommend Melt to anyone in the area who is looking for a delightful chocolate experience.

Hi,
I found this lovely chocolate shop in Ledbury Road. I wandered in because they had a inviting display. I was served by a beautiful lady called Neus. She was really helpful and she knows everything about chocolates. I bought some crunchy salty squares and she made a nice coffee a Sri Lankan/ Guetamalan blend, I will be back for sure. Loved the chocolate shop.

I am a chocoholic and can't go without my monthly trip to Melt. Great selection of chocolates and gifts, convenient location, lovely and knowledgeable staff. Got my boyfriend dark and orange bar and he loved it, I always go back for new additions and seasonal presents. Highly recommend it!

I have been a Melt lover for quite some time. A few years ago I liked "crappy" chocolate but now I am into Dark and sometimes a few cheeky milk ones!

If you like original fresh chocolates come and try Passion Fruit & Mango. It's my absolutely favourite along with the Raspberry & Fresh Mint.
Also they have delicious bars! The best is the Wild 90g bar, very rich with fruity notes that melt in your mouth!
I gave my mother also the Blackberry & Cinnamon 90g and since then I am obliged to buy it at least once a year!

If you are a chocolate lover you should visit Melt. I think it's one of the top chocolatiers along with William Curley and Paul.a.young :)
