Neighborhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

Went here for my 40th and was hugely disappointing. Completely overpriced. Tiny and full of utterly pointless gimmicks given that its as retro as an iPhone 6! Music shocking! Deliberately went here for a mix of 70/80/90s to present as advertised but instead got terrible house dross with the odd bit of le chic mixed in for a nano second. Appalling. The only reason to go there is the music and its a con as its the same as every other small central bar or club plays on a Saturday night. Spoke to manager to was pretty unapologetic, never let me finish my sentences and was actually ineffectual and rude. Spoke to some girls in the toilets who felt exactly the same. Don't bother! Its a basement room, with hugely watered down cocktails that are more ice than drink and it certainly doesn't emulate studio 54. Avoid at all costs. Go to guilty pleasures instead at least you get what you pay for.

Went to DISCO for a friends birthday, we had a great night apart from the fact we were charged £220 for a litre of cheap vodka. It's not an upmarket place at all and it was absolutely packed but we did have fun. I can't believe they charge these prices. We had our own table and the waitresses spent all night getting in our way and not allowing us to poor our own drinks, it was highly annoying and very clear that all they cared about was taking our money.
