Definitely avoid this company. They have taken over £300 worth of my money from a booking I made recently and as I arrived 5 minutes late due to a road traffic accident I was denied entry and also have not been given a refund or...More

I've taken four classes at Bread Ahead and the experience varies wildly depending on the instructor you get. The instructor for the Christmas baking class I took in December was engaging and knowledgable. The class had a great flow and was very enjoyable. The Donut...More

I bought the full day sourdough workshop as a present for my boyfriend. We have never made bread before but the small class size enables the brilliant teacher to help you with every step, so we did not fall behind more experienced bakers. We each...More

I attended for the doughnut workshop and although Bread Ahead doughnuts are probably the best doughnuts I’ve ever eaten, I can’t help but feel the school is resting on its laurels and not putting the same expertise into its school. You are told to arrive...More

A mix up at the start was very poorly dealt with by the manager in not accepting any responsibility at all, instead firmly insisting the fault lay solely with me. Up until that point I’d asked my wife to book us both a return course...More

Bought the Scandi Baking Course as a present for my partner, who came back with the most delicious cinnamon buns and bread, and a promise that he'd bake sour dough for us every weekend. So it was a winner!

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
