More than nice - The Finborough is theatre in your living room; Immediate; intimate, provocative; thoughtful. You always leave the Finborough enriched.

Great theatre seating around 50 people on tiered bench seats. You go upstairs to get to the theatre, there is a central aisle with seats to the right and left. The stage space is small but I saw the matinee of Princess Caraboo (finishes 22 April) which had a cast of 10 who were all on stage at the same time with scenery and props and 3 live musicians and they still had space to dance! If you can get a ticket for this musical (£16 - £18) do make the time to go. There are some very funny parts in the play, it's a good story line, costumes were lovely, lighting was spot on and the musicians were excellent. It was remarkable that for a new musical people were humming the songs in the interval!

The theatre does special deals for under 30s on Tuesdays, and for Kensington and Chelsea residents.

We learned of the production, Weald, through Time Out. I bought tickets online before leaving home. The theatre is warm and welcoming. The production was very good. I'd always check out the season when planning a trip to London. Near the Earl's Court tube station.

I've seen over a dozen productions here and will see a dozen more. This venue sits an audience of 40 plus and has a loyal following. Staff are great, bar is relaxing, prices reasonable. There is always two productions performed here in rep. Brilliant theatre.

I did not expect to see such a well-written and well-performed show in a tiny theater above a pub, but that's what it was. It was a delight.

Wonderful old theatre in the round magical performances. Catch it while you can as this performance was terrific and an amazing bargain to be part of a fantastic unusual play

A first visit to this wonderful, intimate theatre that seats 50. You really feel you are right in amongst it in this sort of space. Fantastic. It's upstairs from the Finborough Arms which is nice too, although we only had a drink on this occasion. I don't live in London but would happily make a special trip in to see plays in this sort of space. The play we saw was "Anahere"; extremely powerful performances. Would recommend. Hope to return to the Finborough Theatre soon.

Whatever they are performing go! We saw Jane Clegg a play not seen for over 75 years. It was extremely well played by all actors and seeing it in this 50 seater was a delight. Afterwards as we enjoyed a drink in the Finborough downstairs the cast came through. How lovely to meet such positive and talented people.

The play was Time is Love/Tiempo Es Amor by Che Walker. He directed this with precision and creativity. A tale of desire, control and decisions. The cast were 6 beautiful people who brought this play alive with passion and emotion. Go and see it.
