About
London Food Lovers was an idea dreamt up by a couple of passionate foodies, who spent years exploring London’s diverse food scene. We decided to take our passion for food one step further and bring London’s unique cosmopolitan flavors to the world through Food Tours. For us, so much can be learned through food. Behind every dish, there is a story, a history, and something you can learn from each culture. We are not just tour guides, we are “food lovers” and our mission is to discover and explore London’s most interesting food offerings – and bring our clients directly to their tables. We have a variety of tours that we offer in London: Our Soho International Food Tour is a celebration of London's cosmopolitan flavours. This 4.5-Hour walking tour is a unique gastronomic and cultural experience, including 10+ food and drink tastings, as you share the history, cultures and stories that come with those foods. Spend a relaxing half day in a small and intimate group, eating & drinking your way through Soho's unique and diverse culinary landscape! Our Jack The Ripper Happy Hour Tasting Tour takes you on exciting exploration of London's famous East End while you learn about one of the most famous and iconic serial killers of all time, Jack The Ripper. This tour is the only tour in London that has been designed to tell the story of Jack The Ripper as you sample a variety of tastings – some fitting with the Jack The Ripper Story and some that are local favourites in the East End. You will walk through the same streets that Jack The Ripper famously prowled, as you stop in a variety of different tasting locations - from a gin-tasting to the most famous Jewish deli in London, this tour has it all! The London Pizza Lovers Tour explores some of London’s most creative pizza venues, as you learn about the history of pizza, how pizza came to London, and how it has become one of London’s all-time favourite and varied snacks – loved by visitors, as well as locals! You will sample 5 different versions of Pizza in 5 very unique locations. You will hear the stories behind how these pizzas arrived in London along with a complete history of pizza and how to spot real pizza from the “fake”, tourist versions. Discover new stories and flavours that you may have never tried before and get an understanding of how our current concept of pizza came to be. In addition to our small group tours, we also offer private and corporate tours that can be customized to meet the most particular needs and interests.

Originally booked in January. Tour stated it was 100% refundable up to 1 week before tour date. My trip was cancelled due to pandemic travel restrictions. Tried for months to cancel and got only one response. That response said they would contact me within 24 hours. And of course they never did. Finally had to write my credit card company to refute the original charges, including sending copies of email correspondence showing their cancellation policy. Now they are asking how I liked the tour and to please leave a review!

Had a good time walking through Whitechapel, Spitalfields, and Aldgate while taking in beer, gin, and wine... along with some snacks and a salt beef bagel from one of the oldest "beigel" places in in London. Appreciated the guide's self-described "feminist" approach: talking about the social conditions of the time, delving into each of the female victims, and dispelling the myth that all were simply prostitutes.

We booked the tour the night we landed in London so this was a good way to get some history about the city. There was only 4 of us on this tour (3 was from our group) so this was a small intimate group. The tour guide was very interesting and gave us a good history of the culture during the Jack the ripper times. I expected cobble stone streets and dark alleys but the neighborhoods we toured had trash and graffiti (no ones fault, just the area). I loved the stops we made for the drink tastings (especially the wine bar). The only misconception we had is there would be more food tasting. We did not eat thinking we would be sampling different foods but we did not eat until the end of the tour (aside from olives at the wine bar) and were starving by this time. We enjoyed the bagels with beef and met some people from London who asked if the tour guide took us there (brick lane) and said this was a great stop in the city for us so I'm happy we got to try these. I liked having a small group as we passed by other jack the ripper tours who had over 30+ people in them. I would recommend this tour, just eat first =:).

This was a Christmas present from my daughter and what a lovely day it was.
I have to admit that I was a bit concerned when it turned out that it was just the pair of us who were booked on the Tour (they can accommodate up to ten) but this turned out to be no issue at all, plus we got the Guide all to ourselves!!!
Kaeridwyn was a truly delightful host who couldn't have been nicer. Additionally, she has lived a very interesting life and I admire people who have travelled and embraced cultures throughout the world. A very, very interesting lady
Even though I have worked in Soho at various times in my life I learned a lot on the tour and the various food outlets were superb
Oddly enough, my highlight was the Hare Krishna cafe (Soho Square) where I had the most delicious Samosa I have ever eaten. The reason I was so surprised was that I worked very near this place for many years and didn't know it existed
I am definitely going back there....
The balance of food offerings was perfect and we had the most wonderful day
I would like to thank Kaeridwyn for her time and expertise and I would like to also thank my wonderful daughter, Emma, for such a lovely and thoughtful Christmas present
Talking of my daughter, at the end of the tour she turned to me and said that she would try to, from now on, always look out for the independent outlets when looking for places to eat in London
I would also suggest that gratuities are very much deserved and I was very keen to show this at the end of the Tour. It doesn't cause embarrassment and was a small token of our appreciation

Awesome afternoon, Kaerydwyn was a great tour guide, very personable and funny. You could tell she really enjoyed what she was doing. The food was great, and we learned a lot about the area. Bring your walking shoes ,you cover a lot of territory. If your cold, don't worry, if she takes you to Paul Young chocolates you will have the best hot chocolate ever. Great way to start our trip to London.

Wonderful tour and the food was fabulous. Ceridwen was a joy to walk around with and learn about the history of the area and we really enjoyed it. I've been on a few food tours in the past and the food is too much but I thought this was the right amount of food samples and walking around so it wasn't overwhelming.

I waited for the guide as instructed but nobody showed up. I called their offices and they simply said that since I was the only one booked for this tour they would not run it, and they did not even bother to let me know in advance !!

We went on this tour on a Saturday morning. It was really informative and interesting and showed us some areas in Soho that we didn’t know were there! The food was fantastic and we certainly were not hungry at the end. We chose it as something different to do on a weekend in London. We were not disappointed!!

We often take food tours first thing when we arrive in a new place to help scope out places to eat during our stay. This tour did not disappoint! Also learned lots of interesting tid-bits about the neighborhood. I'd highly recommend it!

Hi,
How much time was spent at Corinthia Hotel for High Tea? I think that's the part I am most interested in.
Thank you!
LondonFoodLoversTeam
London, UK
Hi! We used to stop at the Corinthia for tea last year, but we decided to change the format because it didn't really fit in with the rest of the tour - since our approach is to show places that locals often go to and can afford to go to over and over again.. the Corinthia is great, but it was often full and very costly and so we decided to do our dessert as a pairing with the wines at our last stop. If you need any recommendations for high tea, we'd be happy to give you some suggestions! Shoot us an email!

Is the SOHO tour near the Hyatt Regency London Churchill Hotel?
LondonFoodLoversTeam
London, UK
Hi! Yes, the Soho tour runs in the neighbourhood of Soho which is really near by the Hyatt Regency. No need to even take a taxi, just get the tube to Picadilly Circus Tube Station and go out exit one and walk straight ahead and you will find yourself in Golden Square, which is where we start the tour!

We were lucky, and it was just the 2 of us! Many of the restaurants we visited are small and intimate, so I can't imagine they ever take more than 8-10 guests.
