Awesome bookstore in London. We like to visit the different bookstores wherever we visit. This has to be one of my all time favorites. What an eclectic selection. Really liked the English translations per country of origin. What a great way to come across new...More

Decided to visit Marylebone High Street since I live not far away and haven't been for years. I hadn't visited Daunt before. It's what I'd call a proper book shop, traditional in it's looks but also in the broad knowledge and helpfulness of it's staff....More

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, no pressure to buy, but having gone in to buy 1 came out with a lot more. Very interesting building as well. Well worth seeking out for travel books especially.

A classic book shop, with old-fashioned decor. Great selection of travel books, and a lot of rare and out of print books that would make ideal gifts for the avid reader in your life. A book lover could spend hours in here. Friendly staff too.

Visited their Marylebone High Street shop - what a fantastic book store! Their travel section was huge, with rooms devoted to certain areas; lots of vintage books plus the standard new books. Loved exploring the mezzanine for vintage Batsford guides (none found) but I bought...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
