We booked with premium tours for only the stonehenge tour. We really enjoyed premium tours because the tour company was walking distance from where we stayed, the tour was really straight to the point, and we also had ample time to enjoy Stonehenge. The only thing that needs work is that they should have someone directing you which bus you are going to take at the station, other than that we enjoyed the tour.

We went on this tour last year April/2019 and were just talking about it this evening. I didn’t write a review at the time but thought I would do so since we had such a nice experience. We had a stretch of unusually nice weather that week and went of the tour. Our tour guide was Magnus, who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He gave lots of good insight and history information to the areas we drove through on the bus ride. In addition it was fun to walk the streets and learn more about the details of Jack the Ripper. I went with my wife and teenage daughter. Thank you Magnus as we really enjoyed the tour.

From start to finish the tour was well organised, perfectly timed & planned. We were welcomed, our guide introduced himself and explained our itinerary to us and then we boarded the vintage bus. Our guide, John Morosini-Whelan, brought the city to life for us. As we drove through the streets of London he pointed out many landmarks and buildings of interest. His knowledge of the history of London, its buildings and characters was incredible- I don’t know how he remembers it all and can recount it without referring to a script or a prompt. John was very approachable & happy to chat and answer any individual questions along the way and really made the experience so interesting and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour with John’s guidance as a way of seeing historical London- there’s no way we would have managed to fit in as much in one afternoon without John’s guidance. Thank you so much John!

Our guide to The Cotswold was informative and very personable. Unfortunately lunch at The Swan hotel was terrible at best, thankfully it was ‘included’ in the tour price. Reading other reviews and listening to instructions at the start of the day, this company is VERY punctual with departure times. Unfortunately this was not the case on our tour. Whilst I don’t want to see anyone stranded, if 30 other people can make it on time I don’t understand why an exception should be made for others. At every single stop we waited at least 20 minutes after departure time for people who were late returning to the bus. As a result we returned to London much later than expected and we missed our dinner reservation.

Be careful if booking the tour to the Dover Cliffs. They just drive through the city of Dover and you can see them in the distance from the bus for ten seconds.

They said the road to the cliffs was closed, which was fine. But they should include that on the website or inform you after you make your order. Everyone else on the tour was disappointed because this was the main purpose of the tour.

Dear qased, We appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback. There was a road closure at Dover over the last few weeks and this meant that unfortunately we could not drive the usual way to see the White Cliffs of Dover. However our experienced guide and driver took a decision to take an alternative route to show you Dover Castle for the best views. As changing tour itineraries does happen occasionally, this is mentioned in our terms and conditions. We understand your disappointment but hope you enjoyed the rest of the tour with us. Thank you.

A fantastic red bus tour covering many historical areas including a boat ride along the Thames ending with a cream tea in Harrods.

The tour starts at Victoria Coach Station where the departure area is well sign-posted. The bus itself is an original red London bus with the roof on the upper deck modified to allow alfresco seating although seats at the front are covered. The bus is of the hop on, hop off vintage with the entrance at the rear but there are plenty of rails and handles to help with embarking.

Our guide for the day was a lovely chap called John Morosini-Whelan. John was very knowledgeable about all of the passing sights. John explained all the main details about each important building, statue, bridge, church with humour and clarity. I certainly learned a lot about London’s fascinating history.

The bus stopped at Buckingham Palace for a photo opportunity. The tour then took in the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, The Strand, St Paul’s, amongst many others and eventually to the pier at The Tower of London where we transferred to a large covered boat.

The boat tour took us back down towards Westminster Bridge and again we got to see a lot of the historical sights that line both banks. Our tour guide for the boat was John Gunnery who was both informative and funny.

There are 3 options with this tour so
back on dry land at Westminster some people went onto to the London Eye, others had already gone onto a fish and chip supper with tour guide John Gunnery. Our bus was waiting to take us to the third option of a cream tea at Harrods Department Store with our tour guide John Morosini-Whelan.

Harrods was where we said goodbye to the bus and our excellent driver who had had to handle some tricky London traffic.

Our guide John took us right up to the tea room and made sure that everyone was seated and well looked after. So we always had our guide to show us where to go.

The tea was sumptuous including scones, cream, jam, a pot of tea and of course a glass of Prosecco!

I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a lot of the main sights. The tour is safe, fun and informative. The guides were excellent.

Ian Luck guiding the Rock ‘n’ Roll tour out of London is something you do not want to miss if you are a fan of the music from the 60’s through primarily the 80’s. I enjoyed the 70’s highlights the most. Never would one know, without a knowledgeable guide, the places where legends lived, recorded and partied.

Ian - I am grateful you had a wasted childhood.

Today we took a Tour to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour.
The driver Malcom was just great! He pointed out a lot of interesting things along the way and told us about it. He was basically being a tour guide while he actually was just supposed to get us there. He was very funny, nice and we felt totally safe being driven by him. Because he told us his boss often reads those reviews: please tell him our kind regards! (The three germans that obviously were too stupid to unterstand the seating arrangements)

It was exactly what we wanted--Stonehenge and Bath. Our tour guide, James, was hilarious and informative, and Christian the driver made it a smooth ride. You get plenty of time to look around Stonehenge. Bath can be a bit tight depending on how much you want to see so don't expect to see everything in Bath if you decide to tour the Roman baths.
