Me (Brit living in Canada) and other half (Canadian) visited London and The Maple Leaf today. Nice bar although quiet as it was a Monday afternoon. Not many Canadians beers on draft and really needs to promote all 7 Canadian hockey teams (not just Oilers and Canadiens). Poutine sounded great but after looking at images on Facebook here I would... More

Been coming here annually for the Last 3 Years! It's one of the Only Places in the UK to sell Moosehead Lager which is awesome! We love it here! The Food is Excellent and the Place is warm and cosy. Having Canadian Family, it really feels like the real thing!

We're not Canadian, but have visited this place a lot in the noughties when I worked in London. We popped in on a Saturday lunch time and it was very busy, but the service to take our order was quick. When the meal arrived unfortunately the bar tender had not heard my order properly and I got a chicken sandwich... More

Being Canadians in London, we decided to stop in for a drink & pub food, our drinks were great and a good price, however the kitchen was closed so we couldn't order any meals. Looks like a fun pub and wish the kitchen was open later so we could have stayed and enjoyed it more.

Went there expecting a lot more than what I got, loos? no paper , no clean and a whole problem just to wash your hands. Seems like the poutine was a'look a like', nothing but British football in the screens, not impress.

Been a bit homesick since moving away from Canada so decide to pop in The Maple Leaf. Not impressed. I did enjoy having a pint of Honey Brown Sleaman's the price was quite steep though. Things only got worse. My husband and I ordered poutine and in fairness we were warned-the waitress said are you Canadian? Then you probably will... More

We averaged about GBP 4 a pint for shandy and soft drinks, which I feel is steep, even for London. A French barwoman spoke and understood only very basic English, so they obvoiusly have difficulties getting the right staff. I didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food. Avoid if possible.

I don't expect much from a tourist pub but I have not seen loos (ladies) this bad for a very long time. Bar service was completely indifferent and the glassware and tables were filthy. We went in to watch the football and while they have plenty of screens to accommodate viewing there are much better places to go - for... More

After 9 days in London on our final night we decided to check out the Maple Leaf and that was a big mistake. We walked into the bar and when we approached one of the bartenders and asked if they had seating for two she looked dumbfounded with our question. I asked if the table with a half pint on... More
