The London Bicycle Tour Company is London's original bike tour, operating since 1991. Our tours are safe, suitable for all standards, and offer an exciting way to discover the best sights of London. You will be provided with a bike and helmet, and escorted by a guide on a three hour tour through the capital, using mainly quieter streets and bike paths. The Classic London Tour is a great overview of London's most famous sights, while the Love London Tour takes in the party atmosphere of Soho and the glamorous shopping areas of Mayfair and Carnaby Street. The Original Bike Tour explores London’s eastern, historically-rich quarter, and the Night Tour offers the chance to see London after dark. Tours are offered daily in English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, and Spanish. And, to do things your own way, we also offer a range of bike hire options. To get up close to the sights, and have the freedom you want as a tourist, you must take a guided tour with London Bicycle Tour Company.

A brilliant (& fairly energetic!) fun & fascinating tour!

Golden Tour- a jam packed, fun & informative tour of all the main landmarks in the beautiful city of London.

I booked this trip as a birthday present for my husband & we took our 3 (teenage) children too. Our tour guide Max made our trip absolutely brilliant. He was a wealth of interesting facts & information for all the locations we visited & also pointed out lots of other fantastic little nuggets as we made our way to each landmark.
During this tour we visited Lambeth Abbey, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, St Paul’s Cathedral, Smithsfield Market, and Cleopatra’s Needle. At every location Max was not only able to talk about the historic importance of the site, but also added lots of really interesting stories & anecdotes (or recommendations for bars & restaurants etc.)
During the ride, Max ensured that the whole group remained together & felt safe & comfortable on the bikes. He was bright, friendly & professional. The bikes were well maintained & easy to ride & were accurately fitted to each member of the group.
If you are looking for an interesting way to see London, then I couldn’t recommend this cycle tour more highly. Our whole family had a fantastic time. Thank you Max & all the staff at The London Bicycle Tour Company! We hope to come back & do one of your other tours in the future!

A tour with a christmas feeling

We really liked the tour. We saw all the lights we wanted to see and also heard some history of the places we visited. There were some fun christmas songs and Birgit (the tour guide) was really nice and knew the city very well.

A fantastic tour by bicycle

The tour was very enjoyable and covered so many iconic spots. Birgit was an excellent guide who was very concerned for our safety as well as providing many interesting facts about London. This was a perfect way to see London and we would definitely recommend to those who enjoy cycling.

Fantastic experience

My family (ages 13-46) had a really wonderful time on the Gold Classic Tour with Chris as our guide. Although we're not experienced cyclists and had never ridden on the "wrong" side of the road, we had a really good time. The bikes were very good and comfortable, and we saw a lot of London landmarks that we had really wanted to see, including even the changing of the guards on horses and a few other surprises we didn't even know exosted. Among our experiences in London so far, this was probably the one we most enjoyed, and we highly recommend it.

A brilliant few hours cycling london

Had a great 3.5 hour cycle with Bridget! We live in UK and visit London all the time but cycling around it gives it a new perspective and I would definitely recommend it.
We saw all the usual landmarks plus some new ones and heard some great stories and learnt things we never knew.
Highly recommend this tour !

Amazing way to experience London!

This is an amazing way to see London effortlessly (without sore feet or complaints)! It made London seem small, went to so many different areas in 3,5 hrs. Our guide Chris was a star, very knowledgable with a sprinkle of humour. The whole team was great and made sure we were all on the right bikes. Highly recommended! 🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴

Delightful Tour

We had a wonderful time on the bicycle tour. Birgit was our tour guide and she did a wonderful job of showing us around even though it was rainy and cold. She told us engaging historical stories that we would not have heard otherwise which really added depth to the historical sites that we visited! This was the perfect way to see London while covering a lot of ground quickly. The rain is not a problem as long as you're dressed for it.

This tour was the absolute highlight of our recent trip to London...Birgit was our guide and knows London like the back of her hand..the London marathon was on while we were doing the tour but she seamlessly changed the route to make sure we saw plenty of interesting sights. Birgit was great fun too, we spent so much time laughing and joking. I'd definitely do this tour again, it was great value for money!

This was an awesome tour and our tour guide, Birgit, was fantastic. She very knowledgeable and made sure we all felt comfortable riding on the London streets. She picked the best bike routes with minimal car traffic. She was a fantastic guide.

George knows everything there is to know about London and latine languages

We had a great time! Beautiful weather, loads to see and a guide with some much knowledge. I went with my 12-yr old boy, we discovered so much about London, all the little back streets and stories about places. Even though it can get busy sometime George knows how to keep the group together and check that we’re all ok.
