Called in for a bite to eat before catching train home after a business trip. Only had a toasted sandwich accompanied by a lovely pint of ale. The sandwich was lovely, and both barmen were exceptionally pleasant. Would definitely visit again when travelling from Paddington.

Stopped by Sawyer's Arms on a Sunday evening, had always experienced a good time. Not what it used to be. The staff was rude and surly, the beer was warm and flat, and the fish and chips were gummy, not crisp. It is handy to...More

Had a few beers, was a bit stuffy inside. You could say had a good ambience, very traditional but it just wasn't laid out very well and I could not believe my pint of ale was room temperature. The outside seating was very basic but...More

I had a drink with a friend here recently as The Sawyers Arms is convenient for Paddington station just a few minutes away. A cosy pub with Sambrooks Beer on tap.
