The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. I saw 1 negative review in regards to this arcade. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
This place is honestly suited for teenagers, young adults and people who love arcade gaming.
This isn't a place for young children for the most part, as it's flooded with people of what I have mentioned above. The arcade may not be roomy, but it's filled with the games everyone would enjoy playing. It can be a little stuffy as it's in the basement, but the air conditioning is actually good. (It a bit more warmer here than outside, that's all)
They don't really have games that caters to children. If you're looking for a place to keep children entertained, this isn't for you. It's real lively in here, bustling with young people.
They have a standard price of 1 pound per credit for every machine. So for some machines, it may not be much worth. But for the most part they are. If you were to play music games like Pump Fiesta, DDR, Guitar Hero, Technika, they are definitely worth it. Other games, it may depend, but I don't take interest in the others.
All the machines only accept 1 pound coins. There's a machine that changes notes up to 20 pounds into 1 pound coins of whatever value you have placed.
Well this arcade is hands down the best you can ever find in Central London.
It has a huge variety of arcade games. (Especially the ones I like. Psst. Pump.)
The current manager of this arcade is the best you'll ever find. All the machines are well maintained, especially the music ones, which are real popular. You don't see much of a problem when you are using the machine.
I can see how devoted he is in managing the arcade. He's just so passionate about it. On the Facebook page, I see that competitions and festivals are hosted frequently. This keeps the arcade spirit alive in London. It's the only place where Londoners would flock to for an arcade.
In my country, the arcade is pretty much dead... There's no such thing as competitions held. Perhaps once in the blue moon, so the community has faded off... (That arcades are even closing down one by one...)
Which is why I'm here, praising so much about the arcade. This was actually the number one highlight in my visit in London. It was my 2nd home.
The atmosphere, is awesome. Initially when I came here for the first time, I felt a little awkward as I was in a foreign country and I didn't know how the people were like. But once you get to know them, you'll see the difference. What comes off as a bustling, lively place that seems rowdy at times, turns into a warm and welcoming place for you to take refuge in and have a blast.
If you are a hardcore gamer with one of those machines, you'll definitely find someone who takes as much interest as you do. Just strike a conversation with them, perhaps regarding the game, and there! You made a friend! (That's just one of the best ways for you to break the ice)
Thanks to this Arcade, I have came out with a few friends richer. (Well 5 friends hehe)
It made me feel so attached to London. It's the people that really make the difference in your trip.
It's easy to mingle around if you have the confidence! Londoners who frequent the arcade are real friendly!
Oh the manager was real friendly. If you are a tourist, just drop a message that you'll be coming over, and they will keep a look out for you!
Oh and in regards to the toilet, you'll have to ask the manager or staff to open the door for you. It's relatively clean, but slightly run down. So that's inconvenient, but doesn't ruin the visit.
(P.S.P.S. On Fridays & Saturdays, especially in the night, it gets REAL BUSY. It's seriously bustling with people like 20 over people flocking at the pump machine. It gets a little overwhelming at first, if you are here for the first time. This is probably the only machine that you'll expect a long queue in. TIP!!!: People queue via placing their pounds on the machine. So wherever your pound is, that's when you get your turn to play it. You do not insert it in. )*******

Las Vegas Soho is the only arcade sporting the latest machines for the arcade gaming junkies. As a regular for a decade, I have been consistently impressed with the level of commitment Las Vegas Arcade has to bringing the very best experience to arcade gamers. They have the best selection of dance machines and rhythm games such as Pump It Up Prime 2, Infinity, DDR/ITG as well as Groove coaster, Jubeat, Technika, Taiko. You will surely have a great selection of games to choose from whether you're a seasoned pro, or a casual visitor. Highly recommended!!

Las Vegas is the go to arcade in the hearth of London. Ever since Trocadero closed its doors LV have embraced the old and new generation of arcade advocates. With investment being thrown in to new machines all the time, there's always something refreshing to try out. You will not find an experience likes this throughout the UK and perhaps Europe.

We came here while we were out exploring Soho and China Town, it was recommended as the best Arcade in London.
It was dire, like 20 machines in total, mostly racing ones. No cash point on site so had to take money out at a newsagent that charged a 2 quid fee.
We played a game of pool which was fun enough. We tried to play two player guitar hero, one of the guitars was broken. We tried to play some of the Japanese games, it just ate our money or spat it back out and refused to start.
There was a co op shooting game in the corner that didn't work either, one of the guns was broken and the screen was flashing an error message.
After having a couple of machines eat our money, we asked to get a refund and had to hang around for 10 minutes for a manager to open the machine up, we just wanted to leave at that point.
Very disappointing, I know space is limited in London but if this was the best I dont want to see the worst.

The place is small and dumpy in a basement. It's a pound per game and some are over in 10-15 seconds. I wouldn't waste the time it takes to find the place. There are about a thousand better options in London for small children.

This was terrible. It looked fantastic in the pictures but when we came, we saw the top floor was gambling which some ages couldn’t go in through and the actual thing was the bottom floor. Some games were broken and all the games were boring. You also have to pay in cash and coins.

I went with a friend to write a review of arcades in London. I've passed by a few times without realising the arcade was there - upstairs is a fruit machine gambling hall.
Downstairs is a friendly little arcade - a couple of pool tables and and an air hockey table, and quite a few games. The Street Fighter cab is actually a PS4 built into a unit which costs £1 for 15 mins and has a very weird log-in system that cost us a few minutes to figure out, and the Guitar Hero is a pound a song(£2 if you want to play with a friend!). The highlight is probably the Bishi Bashi machine, although there is a community building around their Initial D machine.
Probably a much better place if you go regularly and are into the competitive scene, but we still managed to have fun for the 90 or so minutes we were there. It seemed very clean and the people in there were friendly enough.

Thanks for your honest review Thomas. That was the only way we could bring Streetfighter V to the arcade. It's a real shame there are no other gaming places left, but it makes it all worthwhile when people like you come in and appreciate the games. We just had a Streetfighter tournament yesterday, actually. There is also Tekken Tag 2 and King of Fighters XIII on either side of Bishi Bashi. Best to check the Facebook page for events - Just search for Las Vegas Arcade Soho! JuBeat, Groove Coaster and House of the Dead EX are coming this summer. - Toby

Had an issue with Time Crisis 4 machine.
Went upstairs to tell the manager, who then went and hid in the back room to leave a member of staff to deal with me, who just gave me the £1.
Guess this place isn't looking for repeat customers.

Hey Ploes, thanks for the feedback. When an issue occurs, a technician is called. Sorry you were left with no explanation like that - Did it happen on the 30th June? We'll look into it. Toby

The Las Vegas Arcade, abbreviated as LV by regulars, is pretty much "Pump Central", best place for the Pump It Up Dance game, has various other music and rhythm games which is my general area, such as DJMaxx TECHNIKA 3 Guitar Hero Arcade and even two DanceDanceRevolution machines, with the potential for more in the near future which is great because of how local it is to me.
I went there during my birthday on June the 6th and when I walked in, various friendly and familiar faces greeted me with lovely attitudes and a welcoming smile. People I had recognised but did not know personally had even approached me and offered to play with me.
Other arcades do exist, but none are more fun than this one, I have been getting to know the regulars and even one of the managers personally which helps make the experience that much more fun and interesting.
I can simply come by at any time for a day and evening of fun, there are local places to eat nearby such as Wasabi and Bubbleology which I frequent with some friends whenever we're together, we definitely enjoy our time and the only thing I could ask for would be more games, not that they don't have enough haha.
A real pleasure to play in LV, the people are lovely and the faces make me smile when I walk in there because the majority have asked me to play with them and even offered free credits on their behalf to play with them, it's just so friendly I honestly couldn't ask for much more in regards to the community.
Oh and it has Bishi Bashi, you probably won't see another of those ever again!

I discovered this arcade January 2013, and all I can say, a year and a half on and at least 60 trips later, is that I regret not knowing about it prior to then. The atmosphere is always incredible, the place is always buzzing with all kinds of people; pool players, arcade dancers, fighting game pros, all manner! I always have a great time, the staff are friendly and there's a reason this place is where most London meets with friends occur!

Heya. No as they don't have an alcohol license and there are underage customers in the arcade. There are bars all down the street and even opposite the venue!
