This is such a lovely street full of great bars and restaurants which looks so pretty at night with fairy lights running down the street. Moro is great for Spanish food/tapas. The Japanese Cafe is very traditional and I can't wait to go back there for a meal. The Pub is traditional and there are some great craft & antique... More

I visited twice on a recent trip to London, first time in early evening when bars were just starting to get cocktail business, the second time at lunch time when there were stalls serving a wide range of tasty looking street food at very reasonable prices.

This is somewhere I stumbled on and must say that it has been a real find. It is a part of London some of my family were born and I wanted to learn more about the place. I didn't expect to find this. Up there with places like Highbury Barn and Shepherd's Market, this is a place where you feel... More

Exmouth Market is right around the corner from our flat in London, so we are there all the time. It's a popular location for locals and tourists alike with many great pubs and restaurants. You should check it out if you're in the neighborhood.

We called in for a coffee and a quick bite to eat before visiting Sadler's Wells. What a fantastic place. It was certainly evident why it was so busy, but yet seemed such a relaxed atmosphere. Fortunately we found a table and enjoyed some perfect coffees, together with the most amazing (by no means your average) sausage roll. The staff... More

This place only opened yesterday so was running a 'soft launch' which 50% off the bill. The food was fantastic and so where the cocktails. Watch out the food can be hot !

A group of friends had a wonderful lunch at Moro's restaurant and a browse round the interesting shops and cafes in Exmouth Market. Whilst Moro's was not cheap it the quality was excellent, the flavours delicious and the menu was interesting and different . The staff were attentive but not over intrusive and we liked the simple ambiance. It is... More

An excellent street of varied premises including a fave of mine, Moro. There is certainly a wide choice and ones I have visited in our short stay in the area all hit the mark. We had breakfast / lunch / evening meal. The shops also compliment the food / drink outlets. Also just of the street are other fine places... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
