“Hiring the venue - the worst customer service I've experienced.”
BGWMC is the place to be since 1953! We hold social events each week...Some racy, others cultural and refined, but mostly wild, unhinged good-times.

I first contacted Bethnal Green Working Men's Club on 23rd November 2018. I was very clear that I wanted to hire the upstairs room for a party on 2nd February 2019 (this date was set) and decided this would be more than enough time to...More

I recently went here for a gig. They were 30 minutes late opening the doors despite the first act being supposed to perform then. The sound was a bit questionable too. However, the venue remains authentic to typical working men’s club style which is nice...More

We visited the basement pub here known as 'The Workers Arms' - drinks weren't badly priced and the barman was very friendly although he said he was just filling in for a friend that night. It was a Saturday night and the big event in...More

I went here on a hen do for a "Disco 54" event night and it was certainly different. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to go back. There had been way too many people let in and there was no room to...More

Hi There. Really sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your night out with us. Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. Unfortunately toilet + bar queues do seem to be rife in nightclubs! I know I've experienced a few myself. Saying...More

Staff were very rude. Venue is really run down, sound system clearly needs a refit. Bad, awful, what a joke of a place, wouldn't recommend this to my dead aunt

Not your run of the mill venue at all, no-frills for sure, but the entertainment was first class and the audience 100% involved. Fantastic!

We bought tickets to watch the Eurovision Song Contest and we weren't disappointed. There was a friendly vibe to the club. The door and bar staff were very welcoming and friendly. Special thanks go to the doorman who helped us get a taxi back to...More
