The posh fries and baked sandwiches were especially delicious. The decor and music created a brilliant atmosphere. Would eat/drink here again.

Giving this place a 5* for their excellent Covid measures. Saw a gig and it felt really safe, separate little tables for 2, app based table service, sold out but not crowded. Bar downstairs also good, with exceptional customer service.

I came here for a gig just before lockdown and thought it was a pretty good live music venue, with a decent-sized first floor room which offers good sight-lines, a solid sound system and an interesting and varied roster of acts. Tickets are usually reasonably priced but can go quickly if a more established act is passing through. The place is let down a little bit by the bar downstairs, which to my mind sells overpriced drinks in a somewhat pretentious feeling environment. They also don't stock any cask ale, so I usually find myself heading elsewhere for drinks ahead of a gig here. The security can also be pretty blunt and at busier times, very disorganised. Overall though, I think it's a good gig venue and I hope they can make it through these tough times.…
