Address
Neighborhood: Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.

went into zoo bar expecting an amazing night out with my friends, i should have thought twice and should have read the reviews aboutt he club first.
bottle drinks are 7 bucks, they dont serve draght beer and ask you to buy bottles. Bags abd jackets are 3 bucks each to leave them in the cloakroom.
the pleace is full of men, 80% men 20% ladies, i thought we walked into a gay bar, well thats what it looked like.
the managers dont have a clue oin how to treak customers , i believe they are too young for this enviroment and should be put through a customer service program.
Bouncers keep telling you to pick up your items or put them in the cloak room.

Never going back, over priced, ripping off people and management are very rude.

Where do I begin? With anticipation, I ventured into the Zoo Bar with two of my best girls ready for a night of fun. What did I get? Sticky floors (even though the club had only just opened - did they clean it? I think not), rude staff who looked like they’d rather be anywhere else, extortionate prices (£9 for a single vodka and redbull and £13.50 for a double vodka and redbull) served in a small plastic cup with a plastic straw. Are we not meant to be in a climate crisis?? Investing in some paper straws might be an idea.... Creepy men were everywhere, you felt unsafe and uncomfortable. Rather than the security actually doing something, the security pushed you out of the way when you accidentally sat in the VIP section, for a club in Central London this is nowhere near the standards you would expect, it amazes me that it’s in business. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want a rubbish night and to be bankrupt the next morning.

Entrance fee 15 pounds. I asked if it is a good cocktail bar, the lady said yes. Inside you find a super small cocktails menu, expensive and all out of plastic cups. Did these people ever hear about sustainability ? And class? No way. This place is for rich teenagers who want to get drunk after hours. Stay away when you do not belong to this group.

I cannot believe the experience I had when visiting this place, I work in hospitality myself and have done for 16 years and I was completely astounded by this visit. The worst of the worst.

We were made to pay for our drinks prior to them being made, we then witnessed the bar tender under pouring our drinks. When we questioned him, he ignored us and refused a refund. We asked to speak to the supposed manger/licensee who refused to re make or refund us and told us (foul language removed) 'if we didn't like it to leave our drinks and go'. I told him I would report him to trading and standards to which he said 'There is no cameras so it is your word against ours' and started laughing. We went back and fourth for around 10 minutes with him them becoming more and more obnoxious.

He then asked the bouncers to remove us so we left. Absolutely Unbelievable.

Horrible place. Security asked me to pick up my coat off the chair I was standing next to. I did and after twenty mins I did put it back down forgetting myself for a moment, he rushed over and screamed at me. I questioned why he was scared to ask any of the men next to me who had coats and bags on the tables and chairs and weren’t even attending to them but was screaming in my (a young womans) face and literally trying to square up to me and I kept asking him to move away from me please as it was very strange, he kept getting in my face (like he wanted me to push him away) , I had picked up my coat but for some reason he was still standing next to me and breathing in my face with anger ? and when he got no reaction from me he said ‘you’re leaving’. He got on his Walky talky and suddenly two huge security guards are escorting me out. I was so confused as to what the actual reason was but he claimed that I had called him a curse word. (Definitely did not happen ? ) was quite happy to leave and go somewhere else yet was stopped on my way out by more security and the manager who said they wanted to resolve this - Erm again this was a very weird experience as they actually just went on to tell me it’s his word against mine and I’ve apparently sworn at him ? I told them to check cctv to see how this man harassed me and wouldn’t move away from me - if they looked at the cctv they would have been able to see very clearly from the body language how I was not even being any type of aggressive and he was actually trying to intimidate me. For some reason they refused to look at the cctv and also refused to give me and my friend a refund for our tickets. Also bare in mind we’d spent about 50 each here to enter and by drinks only to be a removed shortly after ? Have never experienced something like this in my life and it was genuinely a very upsetting experience. Would not return.

I booked a party of 10 before I had actually read the reviews so it was too late to cancel. Had I read the reviews first I would have probably not booked !
I was actually pleasantly surprised about the service as I was expecting a bad experience, I even spoke to the manager when I got there around 5 PM as it was quiet and he showed me the club downstairs and told me he can make me a deal for a vip table which we didn’t get in the end as we liked it more upstairs. I told the manager about the bad reviews and he said there was nothing he could do about it as people like to write reviews rather then talk to him in order to get issues sorted.
Overall really good atmosphere with Soho prices which we obviously expected, if you are used to £5 doubles with mixers you will be disappointed, they cost £11 but we knew what we were in for as this is what the prices are in London.
Only thing I didn’t like was the beer, only 1 brand called E1, no other known brands available.

There was a group of 6 of us and the 3 who went in before were charged £10 and we were charged £15 ( we were only 5 minutes later)
The drinks took an hour to come and they tasted awful. Could compare them to hand sanitiser and bleach.
£35 for a fish bowl that was just orange and pineapple juice.
£12 for a single rum and coke and the tiny plastic cup came half full.
When asking for help they dismissed us and refused any refunds.
They were busy which we understand but they had time to take our money and then when we asked where our drinks were they said ‘you have had them’
Absolute rip off.
Would not recommend.

If there was zero stars or even a minus rating thats the rating I would have given. I have reported this bar/club to Trading standards and environmental health for unsanitary conditions, discrimination and very rude staff. "So called" manager/licencee said he doesnt answer to any authorities and can charge whom ever he wants what ever he wants whenever. They charged anywhere between £7 and £20 a person depending which cashier you got and seemed to be different between males and females even if arrived at same time and part of same group. They would not provide us with receipts or refunds for being in the venue for less than 10 minutes.awful experience

Don't go here. It's beyond sht. If there was zero stars, I'd leave that instead. Bought three drinks. Dirty glasses. Third drink, a cider - it tasted like egg with a twist of lager. Dirty pipes and dirty glass along with a rude manager.

I asked to swap my drink, the barmaid said she can only swap it to a can of lager as they don't have cider. I've asked if I can have a refund and she's replied 'we don't do refunds'. I've then said if I've got a faulty product then I'm entitled to a refund. She got the manager who shoved the cash back in my hand and then gestured with his hand and waved, and said 'OK bye bye!'

Disgusting. No wonder its dead in here on a Saturday evening. I also hate the spiders here. There are many.

Halloween. Turned up with 3 friends all paying £15 at the door after being told the tickets we had bought were not valid after 30 minutes in the que. Got to the id scanner where 3 of us passed but my friend behind me had been stopped and asked where he was from. When he responded he was Italian, the bouncer (a tall, large eastern European man) immediately claimed he was 'drunk' and forced him to leave. I myself who was able to speak English fluently tried to cooperate with the man asking why he had made this claim however being befuddled himself, he responded shouting 'What? What?' , 'he is drunk!'. Despite all the other bouncers watching and knowing he was in the wrong, they did not intervene and I was not going to leave my friend so I asked him again. To nobody's surprise, especially mine, he rushed over to me and threw me out the gate. After a few minutes waiting outside, a more civilized bouncer had approached us and told us it was not worth reentering and there was no negotiating with the staff so we left. A total of £40 spent between us, robbed. Traditionally, zoos keep animals in their cages, not let them escape.
