Jack the Ripper Tour with 'Ripper-Vision' in London

1,243 reviews
Immerse yourself in Victorian London on this one-of-a-kind Jack the Ripper experience featuring RIPPER-VISION.™ Unlike other tours, your guide uses handheld projectors to accompany spine-chilling tales of the murders committed by Jack the Ripper in the 1800s. As you explore the dimly lit back streets of Whitechapel, images of Victorian London are projected onto buildings to guarantee a highly atmospheric experience. Plus, an evening departure time means you’ll experience London at its most mysterious.

Chariots is a large well maintained sauna with witb good facilities, plenty of private rooms and a large relaxation area. It was quite busy when I visited during the day time and had a good selection of men.

What an amazing day!!! Met some lovely men, everyone was so friendly. Particularly Francois, who kindly lent me his swimming shorts. Disappointingly the sauna itself was sub-standard (ironic given the venue name) and I didn’t see any chariots. I did manage to get a sweat on anyway though 😉 Lookimg forward to visiting again!

Place is very dirty and run down. Quilty of people wore very poor. As I was getting changed one of the staff came up to me and asked where I was from I told him then he started copping my accent. Stay very clear of this place it's a dump

On arrival to Chariots we were greeted with a security guard frisking us both who then discarded us of our poppers and tobacco, the guy behind the bar wasn't very friendly and didn't seem to answer our questions in great detail. All we got was that we weren't permitted a fag during our time here. I feel that if this place needs such high security maybe they're not in the best place? Or maybe they should join the rest of the saunas in the UK in the security sense of cameras and locked doors and maybe a member club with personal details obtained. I was told that I would have to buy unopened poppers from this place if I wanted to use this substance which is just another reason to grab money in my opinion. On these bases we decided to turn around and not enter this place which is a shame as we've always heard really good things about this place. Me and my partner have set a personal mission to visit every sauna in the UK unfortunately this one will have to miss the list 👎

I stumbled across Chariots after a couple of glasses of my fav tipple, Sherry, on a late and lonely Friday night. The formidable receptionist Pedro was very welcoming and made me feel at home. Lovely staff, lovely customers and amazing facilities. Needless to say by the end of the night I was no longer alone. Hot, wet and steamy!
