There is nothing great about this pub and equally there is nothing bad about it; it is an average London pub. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly. They have real ale, Guinness, a selection of lagers and a variety of bottles on...More

Decent boozer. I need to type more words but there's not much more to say. Bought beer at bar. Staff friendly and pulled a decent pint.

A traditional local pub with lots of passing trade going to/from King Cross. Seating outside, great on a sunny day during a tube strike. Sensibly priced beer and mixed clientiale. Friendly staff

Food here is excellent, with large portions. My favourite is the staff, the manager who has run this place for 20 years has always hired great people, so I always enjoy drinking & eating here. Keep up the good work and friendly atmosphere guys!

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
