Neighborhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

This is a great place to go to if you're looking to catch up with friends. There's plenty of seating available and there's often drink deals that are worth taking advantage of.
Have also been here when friends have wanted a heavier night of dancing and drinking and have been a little disappointed as it was quite a chilled vibe.
So to sumamrise - if you're after somewhere chilled then this is a perfect place but if you're after a more wild night then maybe just start your night here for the cheap drinks and then move on elsewhere.

We went to use a TimeOut voucher. Unfortunately the whole setup was confusing, and getting our drinks took ages. This place is on the first floor, and stairs up look uninviting, and there is a feeling of walking into a very empty bar. Once there it is extremely dark. Service was slow and cocktails were nothing special. I don't think I will be returning, especially if I had to pay full price.

We came here for the first time after work on a Friday with vouchers we purchased from TimeOut. We arrived and it was so dark I nearly fell over. After finding a place to sit (everywhere was reserved) we went to the bar. The service was incredibly slow and I was actively ignored for about 20 minutes, I think because I had a voucher. We eventually got our cocktails and they were mediocre.
My friend went up to the bar and was told that because it was so busy we would have to go to the bar downstairs...there were about 5 staff and 3 customers at the bar. We asked to speak to the manager because we couldn't understand why we weren't being served and was greeted with nothing but disdain. We were told that because we "had a voucher" we had to get served elsewhere.
The whole experience was sub par. It was dark, dirty, with plastic glasses and distinctly average cocktails not made by trained staff. I wouldn't come back here if it was the last bar in London. FACT.

We bought a voucher from Time Out entitling us to 6 cocktails for £15, except you have to have all your cocktails at once. We were then told certain cocktails were unavailable then offered champagne cocktails. A very rude female then interrupted our server to tell us we could only have a choice of 4 cocktails which all included whiskey which neither my husband or I drink. The place was dark and dingy and small. Please do not waste your time or money. We walked out!

I have not seen any recent reviews about this bar/club. However, this is certainly a gay friendly, if not overtly gay in all areas, bar/club. Spread over three levels of which only the middle and upper ones appear to be in use. The upper level appear to be much more a Private Member's type club whereas the middle level (at street level) where there is also a dancefloor seem to be used more by the general public or people on promotions. The upper floor was much more crowded throughout the evening whereas the the ground floor was relatively quiet. There was not really enough seating though there was plenty of space to provide it. The cocktails are quite expensive and there is no food offered. The staff and management could perhaps do with some lessons in food safety standards and hygiene. One of our party saw what looked like a cockroach on one of the work surfaces behind the bar. Similarly, bare hands were handling money and putting lime and other fruit into cocktails. Overall, there are better nightclubs and cocktail bars in Soho with much better ambience.
