The area
Address
Neighborhood: Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.

Lovely , smiley manager , who is more than happy to help us for find table and we can spend a warm time with my family.
Food was amazing,
Firstly, they have amazing menu. I can not say more just “woow”
they have a yummi , juicy burger deal with loads of topping and comes with free pints of beer.
But they should changed the chefs in the kitchen, couse They have options about fancy foods too, what I have seen and eaten at the restaurant before.
Finally, my boys could chose a meal from the children menu as well.
What else could you wish more?
Pints were cold served.
Do not need to go anywhere else to find a right place for all ages people.
Thank you very much your lovely hospitality , we are coming back soon for sure.
Your sincerelly,
Nadal

Great place to catch up with friends with incredibly friendly and welcome staff. Would recommend! We all selected a different red wine and they were all delicious. Plenty of space of grab a table for a good post Christmas catch on a Monday night

I have worked in Clerkenwell for over 10 years, always avoided this pub apart from a couple of times when colleagues had leaving drinks. So, I find myself again going to the Crown Tavern, this time for lunch and again, paying £5.50 for a pint of Pale Ale and for the first time trying their £12.95 burger.
Im ok with giving 1 star or above for places I visit but there is no option for no stars on this app. This is truly a terrible pub, terrible burger, terrible service and extortionate prices for a pint of standard pale ale.
The burger was try, tasteless, under seasoned and im pretty sure it wasn't fresh.
Five minutes up the road you can find a pub called the Eagle. Its amazing. Enjoy.
Don't go here!!

We hired out the function room for a baby shower and had a great time! We had a private room on the same floor as the toilets -great for the pregnant ones among us! The bar service was fab, great range of beers, spirits and soft drinks. The food was amazing! My friend and I had the roast chicken dinner to share which could have easily served 3! The gingerbread stuffing is to die for and everything was cooked perfectly. The gravy could have been a bit a bit thicker but then I'm a northerner so it will never be thick enough! 😊
