RACIST PUB
Jul 2021 • Friends
I would not recommend going to this pub if your of colour, one of the most racist places I’ve ever been.

Great service by Holly!

Had a great evening at the pineapple with a fantastic pub quiz and a barmaid Holly served us all night with such a lovely smile which really capped off the evening. Would come again!

Great Local Boozer
Jan 2020
We ran across The Pineapple while we were out sightseeing and looking for a bite. Several places were closed for New Year's Day, but we found this pub and I joyfully had a glass of red wine. This was a great ending to our vacation; there were several regulars and it was pleasant to hear the lovely accents. Hopefully, we will return again soon.

A lovely little local pub
Oct 2019
My walking group found this little pub when we were visiting Lambeth. It is just down the road from lambeth North Station. It is a very cosy little pub with friendly staff, reasonable food and some lovely Art on the wall. Many thankes for making 20 of us so welcome. ( My husband would have liked some more real ale though)
when you visit this pub, note that William Blke used to live next door - now flats- and down the road and under the railway arches there are some very interesting Blake mosaics.

Service (Rubbish)
Sep 2019
It’s styles it’s self as an Irish Pub. So I rang the them on the Wednesday to check if they were showing the All Ireland football Final (Replay) and was told they would be. I arranged to meet some friends there and travelled all the way over from Harrow, anticipating a good night. On arrival, I saw they were showing cricket and soccer. I asked the one barmaid in attendance if she would switch the match on (nobody was watching the cricket at the far end of the pub) She replied, she would after serving the next customer. She then proceeded to serve three other customers. Myself and my friend walked out and rang our other friends to change the venue to the Crown and Cushion Pub down the road. This pub was packed to the rafters with fans watching the game. I won’t be going back to the Pineapple or recommending it to anyone in the future.

Average fish and chips
Aug 2019
I was staying at a hotel nearby and decided to have a lunch here, since it looks nice and very British. I had fish and chips, but was really disappointed that you could really tell that everything was frozen and then thrown into the deep fryer. Not even the potatoes were fresh, or the peas.
Not terrible, but not worth having lunch here just to eat some frozen foods.

A very nice find
Jul 2019 • Couples
We were wandering back to our hotel when we came across The Pineapple, so we stopped for a drink. What a great find! This is definitely a "local" pub with a friendly lady behind the bar as well as friendly locals. According to my wife, the Pimms was quite good. My couple of Guinness were very good. This place is well worth a drop in.
