When my girl and me visited the nightjar, Caroline and Fred were playing a great set of jazz music. In a cozy cellar you get tasty cocktails in a fancy manner listening to some chilling jazz. Will go again!
As the review title says... genuinely the best cocktail bar we’ve been to. Amazing drinks, excellent service, great atmosphere. We were lucky and got a table for 2 on a night where they had live jazz. Booking highly recommended... still can’t believe we got in...More
Warm atmosphere but cocktails tasted of little and diluted the spirits way too much. A lot of effort in presentation but first sip is a let down apart from negroni which was pretty standard.
Would go back but perhaps stick to wine.
Its a small venue which really helps with the atmosphere. The band were very engaging and even had everyone signing along at one point. My favourite thing was that every cocktail arrived in its own unique vessel. This included a swan, bird and smoking glass!...More

The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about
Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.

Hi! Firstly, congratulations!
Yes, they do a little a section of mocktails and non alcoholic drinks, as well as your traditional soft drinks. I was tempted to try a mocktail when I went, as they sounded fairly exotic... More
