We went here tonight for a few drinks and a bit of dinner, the pub has had a little bit of a facelift over lockdown and is looking refreshed. This is the first time we’ve eaten here but the food was great and very well presented. I had a massive piece of fish and chips followed by apple crumble and ice cream. My friend had chicken goujons and chips followed by a Belgian truffle mousse and ice cream and we were well and truly stuffed. The food was great value and definately worth going back to once my stomach deflates from the accessive beer intake.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and service. They have a Pool table, quiz night and live music. There's an open fire in the winter and there're barbecue's in the summer. Great pub!

After spending a truly depressing day at St George's Hospital, we finally managed to escape at around 9pm and passed this place on the way back to the station. We ordered drinks and being well nigh starving, we flicked through the menu. Pub grub can be a hit and miss affair but I needn't have worried. The wife ordered ribs and chips and I settled for Lincolnshire sausages and mash figuring it wouldn't upset the old blood pressure any more. We both agreed it was all lovely and great value. The only minor gripe was my Scotch. They only had Jack Daniels or Glenfiddich and some fairly upmarket scotch. This was a bit odd as Teachers, Bells and the rest of the rank and file whiskies are available everywhere generally.

Local pub after working at St. George's and on Fridays often have live music on and the atmosphere is great. On a nice day you can sit outside at the back is a little sun trap. Not too pricey and even offer NHS discount for St. George's staff!
Friendly bar staff and good service.

The Manor fancies itself as a top venue to watch Sport however it constantly shoves anyone watching Sport to the back where there are not enough seats.

It does this by not putting the sound on at the front of the Pub leaving the majority of people who are watching the match at the front to watch it with no sound, the mind boggles!

Family
I was passing by this pub and me and my family decided to stop for food and we had a nice surprise. The atmosphere of this place is great, friendly staf and efficient but the really bonus of this place is their FOOD! We ordered some food, and was a complete shock when it came to our table, a GREAT shock actually. What a nice presentation and amazing taste. The food was divine and tasted like a very expensive restaurant in town. On that first experience I had a unforgettable mushroom soup, oh boy I will never forget that taste... We were so happy with the food experience on that day, that we decided to come back on Sunday. Was no difference from the first experience, the food was again spot on. Even thou we live in complete different direction was completely worth it to drive that extra mile to the Manor Bar and Grill. OMG, the Sunday roast was delicious, I could eat even that empty plate as the food tasted so divine. Was something about that chicken and that gravy.... Food never tasted so good in ages!! All the pubs serve ordinary, boring and tasteless food, but NOT this one, if I could meet the chef I could give him a big hug and say a Big thank you for the work. On that Sunday I nearly went crazy fulfilled with joy and pleasure. Definitely will come back soon and will recommend to everyone that I know. Well done...
