Often one word is enough and for Artesian that word is superb! A brilliant little bar in The Langham hotel, this place is fantastic. The staff are brilliant, the concept is genius. The cocktail menu takes you on a voyage of key life events. Often not a fan of ‘concepts’ but Artesian does it with such perfection and nonchalance that it works terribly well. My wife and I took great delight reading the menu, so much so we wanted to try them all. So much fun and with a brilliant atmosphere I’d recommend this place to anyone. Guest of The Langham or not, if you’re looking for a decent atmospheric bar with great staff this is the place to be!

Wow! What a wonderful place to see new friends for tea! The Artesian bar at the Langham is superb. We talked about everything from Music to Art and Design and music - bands and gigs and much much more ....totally awesome!

Very lovely place and very attentive service from all staff. Cocktails are very expensive and very good. I love that they have always very attractive menus and they offer delicious sweet nuts.

I had read such good reviews about this bar that I was sure not to be disappointed. How wrong I was. The setting is lovely and had the perfect temperature in this hot weather. The cocktail menu is quite complicated - I hadn't heard of most of the ingredients so we had to keep asking the waitress to explain them all. All of the drinks come out displayed like some weird work of art! Whilst this looks fun, after a while you just want to be able to enjoy your cocktail out of an ordinary glass. As for the cocktails.....the bar definitely seem to be concentrating on how they look instead of the quality of the drink itself. Even when I ordered off menu and had a cosmopolitan, it wasn't the best I had...and at £18 per drink I expect the best. I'm afraid to say we wont be returning. The landmark and the Four Seasons offer better cocktails.

We arrived at the Langham on a summer Friday afternoon and headed for the Artisan bar, which was fairly quiet. We were quickly seated at a lovely window table and nibbles (delicious candied nuts and very plain crisps) and water appeared whilst we perused the cocktail list. It was certainly inventive, but the description left you with little idea of what you'd actually ordered. I pitied the person whose cocktail arrived in something resembling a Transformer toy. At least mine was only in a glass that resembled a rock with what appeared to be smoking Fir tree decorative foliage, I kid you not!

At £18 a cocktail and £10 for a non alcoholic version, I felt there was a little more style over substance.

Dear 30statesJo, Thank you kindly for taking the time to write your feedback following your recent visit to Artesian. I can assure you that we aim to provide the highest levels of genuine service to our esteemed guests. At Artesian our cocktail menu is based on surrealism, whereby the bespoke glassware, the unique presentation and the product itself is aimed to delight our guests, and I am sorry to hear that we have not met your expectations on this occasion. Thank you again for your comments and I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Artesian in the future. With kind regards, Fenja Zimmermann Food and Beverage Manager

I came here with my mum for birthday drinks last week. It was a fantastic experience, and loved the cocktails. They have interesting ingredients, lots of choice on the menu and the flavours are amazing! Displayed nicely too... Never drunk a cocktail out of a box before!

Exactly what you would expect from a hotel like this, superbly mixed, beautiful cocktails in opulent surroundings. Staff superbly attentive to the point of annoying but faultless really. Not cheap at £18 a drink but worth it for a treat, spoil yourself.
