Visiting London for a few days and I always try and find a Greene king pub to use my voucher discount as we all know London is expensive.
Everything was brilliant until the food arrive. Sausage and mash, the mash was rock hard so we sent it back and got the same sausages and a little better mash.
I had the big fish and chips with scampi etc.
On the photo in the menu you have 4 scampi, I had 3 and two pickled onions I had 1. I told the waiter and he took it if the bill so it also compensated the sausage and mash. If that was it, I would of given 5 stars due to the Rectifying it.
Oh no!!! The girl who had an attitude with us for when we gave her our discount code she was rude and arguing with me in the end the waiter told her to leave and he carried on. We only came away as my dad passed away and I always say to my kids be kind to everyone as you don’t know what they are going through.

My wife and I just happened to pass this place one night when we were just out for a walk. We were met by a very enthusiastic lady who kind of welcomed us with open arms.
From the moment we arrived to the time we left the entire staff were great and dealt with the current situation very well.
We didn't eat at the establishment but the drinks and the atmosphere were both great. Highly recommend this little hidden gem.

This pub is in a really good location, there’s a good selection of drinks and the menu is typical of an English pub. We both had the chicken katsu burger and were really impressed. The pub is quite small on the inside however the staff are friendly and provide good service. We would recommend for people looking for a quick bite to eat in London.

Absolutely horrendous! Myself and a friend were in London on Thursday 10th September, after walking around we decided to stop for some food around noon. I asked the waitress at the entrance if the menu contained gluten free options. Instead of checking, she coughed repeatedly into her hands, picked up a menu and proceeded to hand the menu for me to check without cleaning or sanitizing her hands. With everything going on at the moment, I am horrified that a waitress in a restaurant would think to do this is okay. Think your staff need retraining and fast re. COVID-19

Been hehe before and the food is always lovely . Had the tuna melt with chips and for the price the portions were well worth it and chips were really lovely and hot and not a long wait for food. Hubby really enjoyed his pulled pork burger. Great staff. Will be going again when we are next in the area.

The problem was, other than us only one other person was eating but it still took 45 minutes for the food to arrive and when it did, mine was cold and my wife’s was just about warm. Sent mine back and then waited another 20 minutes for it to come out again. It wasn’t worth the wait as the chicken was dry and the fish & chips average at best.
I eat and drink in a number of Greene King pubs and the food here was the worst I’ve had

Nice pub for drinks but I don't think they can cope with food. Overpriced (even for London) and poor. Food stayed in the dumbwaiter for too long and dried out. Ran out of a few ingredients but tried to cover it up.

Had the most vile interaction with the host last night, Tuesday 13th October :( I was absolutely mortified at how rude he was for no reason at all! It’s a tough time for everyone but the pub was dead and all we wanted to do was grab a quick drink but as customers we seemed to have really angered him, as we wanted to buy something. We were both shaking afterwards, so confused. People are losing their jobs, we should be supporting this business but how can we now?! :(

We only called in for drinks before going to see a show. The bar area was fairly busy and we found a table near the window and settled down for an hour. Nice pleasant place and service and drinks absolutely fine.

Went here for a snack lunch and a beer as were going to the theatre and a bit pushed for time. We ordered but food was pretty slow coming out and we had to chase at the bar. It arrived very shortly after and was pretty good, even though we had to eat fast. But.....amazingly the landlord came out and gave all our money back in full as we should have been told about the wait for food. This was completely unprompted by him and such an action is so unusual these days - hence the review!. Well done The Imperial!
