My local's quizone night was cancelled and looking round for another I stumbled on the Sylvan Post. The pub is an old Post Office and included lots of original features like being able to spend the night sitting in the old Safe. The quiz was...More

Really dissapointed . We arrived at our booked time of 2.45. The waitress took our drinks order. The venue looked promising with a nice atmosphere, however 15 mins later waitress came back with the news there was no roasts left except 2 chicken - my...More

I've been in her a couple of times. The wine and beer are good as is the food, and it is a really quirky setting. Not that friendly and welcoming though unless you look a certain way.

Reasonably priced drinks and a good selection of ales. Food is a little pricey but absolutely delicious! I've had the steak and the vegetarian burger on the times I have visited, both fab!

We visited this pub on a Saturday night and it wasn't too crowded. They had a range of decent ales, many of them locally brewed. Like other Antic pubs this one is themed around it's former use as a Post Office, with post office lettering,...More

Great interior, popular place and delicious food! There are many games as well which kept us entertained for quite a while. Such a shame they don't serve the full menu all day on Saturday.

Forest Hill is alright, or so thinks Poppy and Banjo. It's not a great place (the local natives are a little hostile to the 'gentrification' that has been occurring over the years and the South Circular cutting through the middle of town will never allow...More
