After traipsing round London in the pouring rain trying to find a Pub we could actually get in (due to XMAS overcrowding) we found this little treasure.
Not only could we get in we actually got a table and seat.

It is just off to the right as you walk up from the embankment.
Great chicken and mushroom pie with mash and a pint of real ale.

A perfect pub in a tucked away location but still close to train and tube links. Great atmosphere and a loyalty card stamped for each drink you buy. Rewarding customers with a free drink when fill. Fab.
