Such a shame that this establishment that is packed with character lacks the essentials for a simple evening out. There is so much potential for this to be a great pub - quirky interior, a very local feel with a shaded courtyard In which to...More

Terrific pub with a very pleasant garden. We had a couple of pints in the garden and then went inside for dinner. Fish and chips was very good. Worth a stop

Great old pub with Live music. Very cosy and the decor is just great. Can easily have a beer and stare at all the walls filled with books and paintings.

Liked this place. Thought the glasswork in the stained mural was fantastic, what a feature to have! Loved the old bric-a-brac, stuffed heads etc. Amstel not bad value at £2.40 per pint. Also dog friendly with a dog treat menu.
