This is a lovely pub with an outside courtyard. I ate here twice while on holidays and both meals were very good. The pub has a very good selection of beers and ales on tap and appears to have good support from locals. It is well worth a bit of a walk from Paddington Station if you want a less crowded and quieter pub experience.

We having a few nights away in London stopping in Paddington and passed this venue a few times and read a few reviews and decided to give it a go on our last night. On arrival we were greeted by the bar staff and asked for a table of four, the menu has a good range of pub classics and opted for the steak and mushroom pie, it was dish of tender stark and mushroom in a beer gravy topped with flaked pastry and tasted fantastic it came with mash and extra gravy, it could have been better with a few vegetables but was just enough for me. Other meals orders lamb Kofta Chicken burger Normal burger The landlord came over and chatted a few times to make sure everything was fine and we opted for a few more drinks in comfy chairs. Fantastic friendly place if you want a reasonable priced venue definitely go back there if stopping in that airier.
