A good spot to meet up for a beer before seeing purveyors of Finest Southern Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Appollo. Unfortunately everybody else had the same idea rather than overpay in the Appollo bar & it took bloody ages to get served - They really weren't prepared for the onslaught imo. BTW This Is now called THE YARDBIRD. It is in the Broadway Center at Hammersmith tube station.

This Is now called THE YARDBIRD.
It is in the Broadway center at hammersmith tube station. We also found this lastime. They have done it all up and it looks good. New furnishings and lighter. We have the Hunters chicken when in here. Be in by at least 4.30 to get a seat as does get very busy. (noisy on some nights) but worth it. Like us if you cant get in there, straight out the back door and through to the chinese at the back (really yummy)
