1,235 reviews
Immerse yourself in Victorian London on this one-of-a-kind Jack the Ripper experience featuring RIPPER-VISION.™ Unlike other tours, your guide uses handheld projectors to accompany spine-chilling tales of the murders committed by Jack the Ripper in the 1800s. As you explore the dimly lit back streets of Whitechapel, images of Victorian London are projected onto buildings to guarantee a highly atmospheric experience. Plus, an evening departure time means you’ll experience London at its most mysterious.

Always busy, with some yummy chef‘s special on the blackboard. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We‘ve eaten here several times including a Sunday roast - the food was always superb.

I saw The Secret Garden at the King's Head theatre long time ago and I thought The Secret Garden show was brilliant because I thought Jordan Lee Davies was brilliant as Dickon and Martin Dickinson was amazing with his character Dr Neville Craven. It was amazing and the songs were really good and Martin Dickinson did a grand job staying within his character and the voice and the way he acted it really well. It was a great show.

We were at the Kings Head last night for a play which started at 7pm, so wanted to eat before hand having read so many positive reviews of their food. We arrived just before 6pm, and tried to order 2 cheese and hand toasties, only to be told that they'd not be ready in time to see the play. So in short, two toasties would take over an hour to make.... The bar staff was unapologetic and could not have been any less helpful. In the end we left the pub and crossed the road to get something to eat, and arrived in plenty of time to see the play.

Nice place to grab a beer and sit outside. Great people watching on Upper Street. Interesting atmosphere inside. Very relaxed.

A surprising experience. A pint after work and an opera (The Magic Flute) delivered by an outstanding cast of professional singers. The pub is cramped but so are most London pubs after work hours. A pint of Young's allows one to blend into the fun. The theater proper is at the back of the pub and it is small. Completely sold out performance. It was warm inside and one feels it. Altogether a terrific and authentic London experience.
