This club is literally a minute from West Kensington tube. Upon arrival my partner and I were warmly greeted and escorted to the bar. We were astounded at the quality of the decor. We have visited most London venues and this one ranks up there with the biggest. I believe the club is under new management and they must be doing something right because as soon as you walk in it's as if you are stepping into a world of class, quality and excellent customer service. The atmosphere is one which draws an older, cooler and more sophisticated crowd, although the club caters for almost everyone with their choice of live bands. The quality of sound really does make a difference and every square foot of the building is beautiful and comfortable. The prices are reasonable, and there are nice little touches everywhere in keeping with Jazz and Blues (check out the custom beer taps!). We were made to feel like royalty, even though they were aware that we had paid next to nothing for our tickets on Groupon! Will I visit again? Definitely- my partner and I have booked time off work so we can both relive the experience together. 5 stars; an accolade not previously awarded in all my years of writing reviews. Keep up the work ethic, Black Velvet.

Good coffee , wonderful staff

Little oasis for a coffee or light lunch with super friendly staff.
Quirky deco and nice selection of sandwiches, omelette and full English!
