Friends insisted that I go have a look with them today and I was not disappointed! Loud fun music and children playing at the water fountains and lots of good vibes, the weather was nice and lots to see! Plenty of vintage vendors with their beautiful cars displayed and of yummy smelling food in the air. Also lots of shoppers... More

Still an upcoming area with lots of development still going on, Granary Square benefits from the fountainscape centre-piece (very popular in Summer) and lots of new restaurants and bars popping up all around it (Dishoom seems particularly popular, based on the numbers of passers-by who asked me where it is). The area also feels quite bohemian and artsy, what with... More

Lovely idea for children playing By running through the different heights of water. And when the height of the water changes it all looks so good. Well done Shame these things were not around in the 1960 But as years move forward new ideas come along. Well if you are passing there with your children I promise you they will... More

This is a beautiful square with nice industrial buildings. There are a lot of options for eating and drinking over here. But there is still some construction work going on, so the area is still changing!

Our hotel concierge highly recommended this restaurant and they were absolutely right! They have a lot of vegan dishes but everything was just perfect and quite unique. Definitely not your typical British pub fare!

One of the best new places in London. From the range of restaurants to the amounts of redevelopment going on, from summer screenings on the river to christmas trees in winter. The colourful fountains are a joy to watch.

A very relaxing place at King's Boulevard, on the banks of Regal's Canal, adjacent to Central Saint Martins, a world-famous art school. If you know the story of its transformation from the Good Yard Complex (1852) to Granary Square (now), you will find this place more interesting. The fountain is the key attraction, surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants. Suitable... More

Came across Granary Square by chance when we were visiting Kings Cross Theatre. What has been done here is lovely. A few restaurants to choose from. Seating along the canal & lovely waterfalls/sprinklers for kids to play in. As if was one of the hottest days of the year when we were there it was very busy with loads of... More

Although there are a lot of building work going on around Granary Square, there are two sets of water fountains, a smaller one and a larger one around the corner. This was a fantastic place to take the kids on a hot summers day like today. They ran up and down for hours. There are tables, chairs and a big... More
