This little theatre is a must to visit during the summer. It is very atmospheric and in some ways quite magical. The design of the auditorium and the rake of the seats means that wherever you sit you get a great and uninterrupted view with good acoustics. I have seen many productions here over the years and they have all... More

Verb nicely done and the seating was fine. It was an exceptionally hot September afternoon so we were lucky to find our seats were in the shade. There is a nice picnic area around the the theatre so if you get there early enough to stake your claim to a table and chairs ( a few with sun umbrella) -... More

This is a great, atmospheric little theatre in a very pretty setting within the inner circle of Regents Park. The seating is tiered, so you are assured of a good view wherever you sit, and being a relatively small space set in an amphitheater style, you're also never too far from the action. The space is well run with good... More

We saw Jesus Christ Superstar and it was outstanding. Excellent cast of terrific singers and a really interesting take on the original show I saw in the 70's. I do hope it gets performed again as it is truly a worthwhile evening.

Surprisingly funny and engaging throughout, although the first half was better than the second. The acting was very good, and the use of the rotating part of the stage made each scene clear. There is no cover or shade so be prepared. The seated is tiered so even a short person like myself could see the stage. The seat numbering... More

The performance of the stage players was really nice. Awesome performance by actors in colorful dresses.

It was a magical summer's evening in the park to see arguably the best Jane Austen's books come alive. The venue is amazing! to just sit outside creates a special atmosphere. The diverse cast choice and performances proved the play was not only excellent but created a contemporary and refreshing change to a classic story. I LOVED IT!

I want aware of this theatre until a London girlfriend suggested it... what an absolute treat and find... we ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely, choice of three starters, main courses and deserts, we were under cover , not that we needed it as it was such a balmy evening. Perfect. The actual open air theatre was... More

Fantastically warm evening, so perfect for Regents Park Open Air Theatre. All seats have an excellent view as they are steeply tiered. Superb production; good acoustics. Can take drinks with you too. We started with a barbecue burger and beer In the garden, then when the starting bell rang we ambled into the theatre. It looked magical with all the... More

This was the perfect way to spend the hottest day of the year! Pride and prejudice in open air was phenomenal and it was the most beautiful setting. During the intermission I went to the gorgeous bar (dripping with fairy lights!) just for a bottle of water. Stood in the queue patiently waiting my turn, except it never came. The... More
