Love coming here. My third time to the Regents Park Open Air Theatre and on each occasion I have got home smiling with a feel food factor. Have just returned from watching Jesus Christ Superstar. Went to the matinee with the sun beating down. Dare I say it was actually too hot! But that's not the venues fault. Setting is... More

This was the play we saw on this visit to the Open Air Theatre. It was brilliant. A picnic in the park to start with (much cheaper than the prepared picnics the theatre sells). Then a stroll by the lake to walk off the picnic. Then off to the theatre. We have seen Shakespeare and Modern plays here before. Always... More

A brilliant rock opera with some of the best tunes and lyrics which buzz around your head for days after - I don't think there is anything with which to compare it. Judas and Caiaphas along with Herod are the standout performances. The camp element of the musical is embraced with gusto without forsaking the core story or mocking it... More

By far Andrew Lloyd Webber's best musical. Every single song was memorable. For me, the best performer was Judas, followed by Jesus. Boy could Judas belt out those tunes! He was a wonderful young talent. It was a spectacular musical performed in an incredibly bucolic and ethereal setting. Highly recommend. We were able to purchase tickets last minute....2 hours before... More

This place is absolutely gorgeous! If you get a chance I would absolutely recommend going to see a show here. It is a one in chance opportunity. We went on a lovely day so the weather was perfect for it, probably not quite so nice while raining as no shelter (obviously as outdoor theatre). Would definitely go back if they... More

We saw a preview performance of Jesus Christ Superstar last night. The setting is wonderful and we were so lucky to have a balmy evening during a very hot spell In London. We didn't need rain ponchos at all! We preordered a picnic hamper to enjoy before the performance and this meant we had a table to sit at so... More

Not been before, and was given a free ticket as someone at work could not make , which was very nice of them. Not sure I would have paid £47. mind you. got in early as tables fill up quickly tried the burger and chips and not bad at all, Although I guess £9.50 for London was not bad. expensive... More

Having received an e mail giving a dire warning about late entry etc we duly made sure we were on time and queued up well in time. Time passed, the queue lengthened, we got a message apologising of a delay due to technical difficulties. Ten minutes elapsed and another similar message. We waited and waited and then some 40mins later... More

This was our last night in the UK and we planned to to see Jesus Christ Superstar but they claimed there was a 'power failure' and cancelled the show. Really? All around us the lights and else was working. Have they not heard the show must go on? Don't plan a theater night here, if you are visiting London chose... More
