My first Lover's rock courtesy of Janet Kay, Carol Thompson and the legendary Beres Hammond. We danced from 7pm until 12:00. It was a great night, classic after classic. It was nice to listen to songs you grew up hearing your parents play. The artists were humble, energetic and their performances sincere. They generally appeared to enjoy interacting with the... We travelled from Scotland to see Christopher Cross a few weeks ago who was absolutely wonderful . However, had this not been an artist we were desperate to see we would have left at the interval due to the poor venue. The seats were uncomfortable and cramped on level 2 which we would have suffered if the sound production and... More

We went to see Runrig on Friday, great gig, although the acoustics weren't quite right. The bass almost drowned out the vocals. However, lovely old fashioned theatre, fulfilled all my expectations. The staff are amazing, so helpful, friendly and courteous. A nice young man saw me struggling with my stick on the stairs and leapt into action, clearing handbags etc... More

My wife and I saw Christopher Cross here last night: he was excellent. Regretfully, the same cannot be said for the venue. We had front row seats on Level 2 which we (and numerous others) thought would be an unrestricted view....how wrong we were. Without leaning forward, my wife (who's an average height) missed seeing about 40% of the stage.... More

This is more of a very public thank you. We took our son to his first rock concert here last Ocober to see Father John Misty. The venue was amazing Victorian splendour, what a great place. I want to comment on the hospitality of the staff at this venue though. Nowhere in all my years of concert/ festival going have... More

Went to see Brandon Flowers on 16/11/15 here and the decoration covering the roof was truly amazing. We were in level 1 seating for the gig but this is only a guideline that hardly anyone stood by; everyone was standing and the staff didn't have a problem! Mind you, once it starts to fill a few rows from the front... More
