Visited for the first time to see Bastille - arrived just over an hour before doors opened in what we thought was an orderly queue round the block however the O2 priority guests were not shown where to go which led to lots of pushing...More
Been here to see loads of gigs and loads of great artists over the years. I absolutely love this venue and the sloping floor, you pretty much get a good view wherever your standing. Toilets for women are a nightmare and getting a drink is...More
Been to this venue multiple times now, love it as it’s relatively small and the slopes floor means you generally get a good view, I’ve never been upstairs so not sure what that’s like, handy for o2 customers and you do get a few perks...More
My experience ('the stranglers') was good but there was the age-old problem in the circle of some people standing to dance, thus restricting the view of others. Luckily didn't really affect me but one idiot (accompanied by equally idiotic partner) became really abusive to the...More
Mostly a great venue - sloped floor means you can get a good view from wherever you are in the stalls, great sound as long as you aren't to the side of speaker stacks, beautiful architecture.

The floor is slanted so that you can get a good view of the stage, even if you are a bit further back. When I have been there it was possible to move about, getting nearer the front by walking down the sides. It’s obviously a good idea to get there as early as possible if this means a lot to you. Time passes quite quickly in the queue, if you are really excited to see a band.
